Abstract: Ο εσωτερικός έλεγχος σήμερα πλέον αποτελεί ένα σημαντικό κομμάτι κάθε επιχείρησης, καθώς εξυπηρετεί στην αποτελεσματική και σε βάθος παρακολούθηση των κινδύνων αλλά και των δικλείδων ασφαλείας της επιχείρησης. Επιπλέον λειτουργεί συμβουλευτικά και δίνει κατευθύνσεις σχετικά με τους κινδύνους που αποτελούν απειλή για την επίτευξη των στόχων της Διοίκησης.
