Περίληψη (Abstract): The present study examines the degree to which each of the main supply chain actors (farmer, processor or retailer) is able to affect the price formation at the different levels of the European agr-food supply chain. To this end, we employ a vector Autoregressive (VAR) framework, which enables us to examine both forward and backward price signals. The price data are monthly prices indices.
