    • Ι. Abstract The phenomenon of migration is true, as it had essentially existed even since the dawn of the course of homo sapiens on the planet. It is evident especially during those last decades, that Greece also has been a spot for refugees and migrants coming from troubled areas of the world, like Africa or the Middle East. The presence of those people imposes a series of new challenges that have to be faced meticulously. Challenges associated especially with the aspect of the integration of immigrants and refugees. The perspective for this integration of immigrants and refugees, as it has been shown through various educational programs, among others, is also something connected to the field of museum education. The latter, after all, for several decades has been increasingly promoted internationally, especially in relation to the issue of serving a series of social needs and challenges. Challenges, such as the integration of immigrants and refugees. In such an effort the role of modern museums can be quite decisive, especially through their educational programs as well as the use of modern technologies in such programs. This is also something that we try to search especially in the case of the Athens Acropolis Museum in this dissertation. The aim of this study is to examine how the Acropolis Museum one of the most important in modern Greece may contribute to the integration of migrants and refugees through the combination of its educational programs with modern technologies. This research also has to do with qualitative research including migrant and refugee children, as well as members from the staff of the Acropolis Museum, while using the tool of semi structured interviews.

Περίληψη Το φαινόμενο της μετανάστευσης είναι αληθινό, καθώς ουσιαστικά υπήρχε ακόμη και από την αυγή της πορείας του homo sapiens στον πλανήτη. Είναι προφανές ιδιαίτερα κατά τις τελευταίες αυτές δεκαετίες, ότι η Ελλάδα ήταν επίσης ένα μέρος για πρόσφυγες και μετανάστες που προέρχονται από ταραγμένες περιοχές του κόσμου, όπως η Αφρική ή η Μέση Ανατολή. Η παρουσία αυτών των ανθρώπων επιβάλλει μια σειρά από νέες προκλήσεις που πρέπει να αντιμετωπιστούν σχολαστικά. Προκλήσεις που συνδέονται ιδιαίτερα με την πτυχή της ένταξης μεταναστών και προσφύγων. Η προοπτική αυτής της ένταξης μεταναστών και προσφύγων, όπως έχει φανεί μέσα από διάφορα εκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα, μεταξύ άλλων, είναι και κάτι συνδεδεμένο με τον τομέα της μουσειακής εκπαίδευσης. Το τελευταίο, άλλωστε, εδώ και αρκετές δεκαετίες προωθείται ολοένα και περισσότερο διεθνώς, ειδικά σε σχέση με το ζήτημα της εξυπηρέτησης μιας σειράς κοινωνικών αναγκών και προκλήσεων. Προκλήσεις, όπως η ένταξη μεταναστών και προσφύγων. Σε μια τέτοια προσπάθεια ο ρόλος των σύγχρονων μουσείων μπορεί να είναι αρκετά καθοριστικός, ιδιαίτερα μέσω των εκπαιδευτικών τους προγραμμάτων καθώς και της χρήσης σύγχρονων τεχνολογιών σε τέτοια προγράμματα. Αυτό είναι και κάτι που προσπαθούμε να ψάξουμε ειδικά στην περίπτωση του Μουσείου της Ακρόπολης Αθηνών σε αυτή τη διατριβή. Στόχος της παρούσας μελέτης είναι να εξετάσει πώς το Μουσείο της Ακρόπολης, ένα από τα σημαντικότερα στη σύγχρονη Ελλάδα, μπορεί να συμβάλει στην ένταξη μεταναστών και προσφύγων μέσω του συνδυασμού των εκπαιδευτικών του προγραμμάτων με τις σύγχρονες τεχνολογίες. Η έρευνα αυτή έχει επίσης να κάνει με ποιοτική έρευνα που περιλαμβάνει παιδιά μεταναστών και προσφύγων, καθώς και μέλη του προσωπικού του Μουσείου Ακρόπολης, χρησιμοποιώντας το εργαλείο ημιδομημένων συνεντεύξεων.
