This thesis attempts to investigate the Right to Education of Minor refugees/migrants in Greece. More specifically, the researcher followed qualitative approach and the data collected through interviews based on the assessments and experiences of a total of eight professionals who have worked in several and different educational contexts with refugee or immigrant children. At the same time, the study aims to examine the legal framework regarding the Right to education for refugee and immigrant minors both nationally and at the European and international level. Reference is also made to how the decisions of the Greek government determine the living conditions of children and ultimately affect their access to education. Emphasis, also was given not only to the reception and their living conditions, but also to the arrival and transition process. Finally, the main goal was to explore the needs of refugee and immigrant minors, the challenges they face in accessing the Greek educational system and the reasons why specific polices failed as well as suggestions for improving the current situation from the perspective of professionals working with this population.
