Η εργασία αυτή αναφέρεται στο κτίριο του Καποδιστριακού Ορφανοτροφείου / Πρώην Φυλακών στην Αίγινα και εξετάζει δύο κύρια ερωτήματα. Το πρώτο είναι ποιές μνήμες του κτιρίου επιβιώνουν ή κυριαρχούν. Ένα δεύτερο ερώτημα είναιμπώς η επιλογή της επανάχρησης του χώρου ως Διαχρονικό Μουσείο θα επηρεάσει την διαμόρφωση της ιστορικής κρίσης των σύγχρονων κατοίκων του νησιού.

This work refers to the building of the Kapodistrian Orphanage/ Former Prison in Aegina and poses two main questions. The first question that the paper examines is which memories of the building survive or are predominant. A second question is how the choice of reusing the site as a Timeless Museum will affect the shaping of the historical judgement of the contemporary inhabitants of the island.
