In the present thesis the Arab and Greek diasporas in the US, are compared. The comparison is realized in terms of their social and political influence in the American framework. Accordingly, the influence of the American society and polity on the Greek and Arab Americans, is analyzed. Also, the presence, generally, of the Greek and Arab populations in the US is researched on this thesis. Moreover, the social and political practices of the Greek and Arab diasporas is referred, and at last, are referred their attempts to integrate on the American society and to influence favorable policies for the diasporas and their origin states. 

Στην παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία αναπτύσσονται συγκριτικά η Αραβική και η Ελληνική διασπορά στην Αμερική. Οι δυο διασπορές συγκρίνονται αναφορικά με την επιρροή τους στο κοινωνικό και πολιτικό υπόβαθρο των ΗΠΑ. Αντίστοιχα, στην εργασία αναφέρεται η επιρροή της Αμερικάνικης κοινωνίας και πολιτικής στους Έλληνες και Άραβες εκεί. Στα πλαίσια της έρευνας για τη συγκεκριμένη διπλωματική, μελετάται η συνολική παρουσία των Ελλήνων και των Αράβων στην Αμερική. Γίνεται, επίσης, αναφορά στις κοινωνικές και πολιτικές πρακτικές των δύο διασπορών, και τέλος στην προσπάθειά τους αφενός να ενταχθούν στην Αμερικανική κοινωνία και αφετέρου να επηρέασουν ευνοϊκές πολιτικές για τους ίδιους και τα κράτη προέλευσής τους.
