    • Η παρούσα εργασία ερευνά τις επιμορφωτικές ανάγκες των εκπαιδευτικών που απασχολούνται σε γυμνάσια της Ανατολικής Θεσσαλονίκης, σχετικά με την αξιοποίηση των έργων τέχνης στη διδασκαλία τους. Τα τελευταία χρόνια, έχουν γίνει αρκετές ενέργειες για την επιμόρφωση των εκπαιδευτικών, γενικότερα, αλλά και στην αξιοποίηση των έργων τέχνης στην εκπαιδευτική διαδικασία και αυτό γιατί τα έργα τέχνης βοηθούν, αφενός, τη διαδικασία της μάθησης και αφετέρου, βοηθούν και τους εκπαιδευόμενους να αναπτύξουν πολύμορφες δεξιότητες, όπως κριτική σκέψη, δημιουργικότητα, φαντασία και έκφραση συναισθημάτων. Είναι αναμφισβήτητο ότι η τέχνη επενεργεί σημαντικά όχι μόνο στην εκπαίδευση, αλλά και στη ζωή του ανθρώπου γενικότερα, αποτελώντας σημαντική διαφυγή στις δυσεπίλυτες στιγμές του. Το δείγμα της έρευνας αποτέλεσαν 15 καθηγητές Γυμνασίων που υπηρετούν στη β/μια εκπαίδευση της Ανατολικής Θεσσαλονίκης. Στην παρούσα εργασία, ακολουθήθηκε η ποιοτική έρευνα και ως εργαλείο συλλογής δεδομένων χρησιμοποιήθηκε η ημιδομημένη συνέντευξη. Όλες οι συνεντεύξεις, πραγματοποιήθηκαν μέσω skype, εξαιτίας των δύσκολών συνθηκών που επικρατούσαν λόγω του covid-19 και όχι διά ζώσης, αν και αρχικά ορισμένες θα πραγματοποιούνταν δια ζώσης σε ιδιωτικό χώρο της συνεντεύκτριας, με όλα τα μέτρα ασφαλείας. Από τα ερευνητικά δεδομένα προέκυψε ότι οι εκπαιδευτικοί αναγνωρίζουν ότι έχουν έλλειψη νέων γνώσεων, μεθόδων και τεχνικών στο εκπαιδευτικό τους έργο και θεωρούν απαραίτητη την επιμόρφωση για την αναβάθμιση της διδασκαλίας τους και τη βελτίωση της εκπαιδευτικής διαδικασίας. Επιπλέον, όσον αφορά στην επιμόρφωσή τους και στην αξιοποίηση της τέχνης στη διδασκαλία τους, αποδεικνύεται ότι τη θεωρούν χρήσιμο και βοηθητικό εκπαιδευτικό εργαλείο, το οποίο είναι πολύ επικουρικό στο έργο τους.     • The present thesis explores the educational needs of teachers who are employed in high schools in Eastern Thessaloniki, regarding the use of works of art in their teaching. In recent years, several actions have been taken for the training of teachers in general, but also for the use of works of art in the educational process and this is because works of art help, on the one hand, the process of learning and on the other hand, help trainees to develop diverse skills, such as critical thinking, creativity, imagination and expression of emotions. It is undeniable that art has a significant impact not only on education, but also on the life of man in general, constituting a significant escape to his intractable moments. The investigation of the training needs of teachers is important for two reasons: on the one hand for their active participation as trainees and on the other hand for the effectiveness of the training program. In recent years, several attempts have been made to educate educators in the use of works of art in the educational process and this is because works of art help, on the one hand, the process of learning and on the other hand, they also help trainees to develop diverse skills, such as critical thinking, creativity, imagination, and expression of emotions. It is indisputable that art has a significant impact not only on education, but also on the life of man in general, constituting a significant escape in his intractable moments. The sample of the survey consisted of 15 high school teachers serving in the second-ary education of Eastern Thessaloniki. In the present paper, qualitative research was followed, and the semi-structured interview was used as a data collection tool. All interviews were conducted via skype, due to the difficult habits that prevailed due to covid-19 and not in person, although initially some would be conducted in person in a private area of the interviewer, with all the safety measures. The research data showed that teachers recognize that they lack new knowledge, methods and tech-niques in their educational work and consider it necessary to train inorder to upgrade their teaching and improve the performance of students by extension. Moreover, as far as their training and the use of art in their teaching are concerned, it is proved that they consider it a useful and auxiliary educational tool, which is very auxiliary to their work.
