    • Το να είσαι γυναίκα σήμερα είναι δύσκολο και το να είσαι προσφύγισσα ακόμη δυσκολότερο. Η έμφυλη βία αναγνωρίζεται σε όλα τα περιβάλλοντα και στο προσφυγικό πλαίσιο επίσης. Η παρούσα έρευνα αναδεικνύει ότι οι προσφύγισσες είναι ευάλωτες απέναντι στην έμφυλη βία, ακόμη κι αν θεωρητικά βρίσκονται σε ένα προστατευτικό περιβάλλον. Τα κενά στο νομικό πλαίσιο, η ολιγωρία του συστήματος, η ανεπαρκής κατάρτιση των επαγγελματικών του πεδίου, αλλά κι η γενικότερη προσέγγιση απέναντι στο πρόβλημα είναι μεριά από τα ευρήματα της έρευνας. Παράλληλα, η ανάγκη για συνεχή και περαιτέρω εκπαίδευση, την ανάπτυξη της ευαισθητοποίησης της κοινωνίας και των προσφύγων αλλά και την ενδυνάμωση των θυμάτων σε όλα τα επίπεδα είναι κάποια από τα μέσα που θα μπορούσαν να περιορίσουν το φαινόμενο.
    • Today being a woman is not easy and being a refugee woman is not easy at all. Gender based violence is a recognized in all contexts and in refugee as well. This research reveals that refugee women are vulnerable to GBV even if they are in a safe theoretically place. Gaps in the legal framework, system’s negligence, the deficient training of professionals of the field and the general approach towards the problem are some of the findings. Also, the need for continuing and further training, the rise of awareness of the society and refugees as well, and victims’ empowerment in all levels are the measure that could eliminate the phenomenon.
