    • Η παρούσα εργασία αφορά το αποτύπωμα που άφησε η κατοχική πείνα στη νεοελληνική λογοτεχνία. Αναμφίβολα η περίοδος αυτή σφραγίστηκε από αυτό το συλλογικό τραύμα που κόστισε τη ζωή σε περισσότερους από 45.000 ανθρώπους και πήρε τέτοιες προεκτάσεις στην ψυχολογία όσων επιβίωσαν, ώστε Κατοχή και πείνα να λειτουργούν συνδηλωτικά. Μελετήθηκαν έργα από τρεις λογοτεχνικές γενιές που συναντώνται σε μια κοινή θεματική. Σε ορισμένα έργα η πείνα για να εγείρει τα επαναστατικά αντανακλαστικά του χειμαζόμενου λαού, ενώ σε άλλες είναι κίνητρο για προδοτική δράση. Άλλοι συγγραφείς επιλέγουν να αναδείξουν το τραύμα που τους άφησε η πείνα στο κατοπινό βίο. Συνάμα θα δούμε ήρωες που αντιμετωπίζουν με νοσταλγική διάθεση τα χρόνια της πείνας, εποχή πριν η κοινωνία του καταναλωτισμού σαρώσει τις αξίες και το πνεύμα αντίστασης που διήπε εν πολλοίς τα χρόνια της Κατοχής. Ταυτόχρονα με την παρουσίαση της εκάστοτε πλευράς της πείνας που αναδεικνύει ο κάθε πεζογράφος, παρεμβάλλονται γλωσσικές και υφολογικές επισημάνσεις που σχετίζονται με τις κοινωνικές συνθήκες στις οποίες έζησαν οι δημιουργοί και διαμόρφωσαν τις επιλογές τους.
    • This essay focuses on the way the experience of hunger during the occupation is depicted in modern Greek literature. There is no doubt that this period was marked by the collective trauma of hunger that cost the life of more than 45000 people and had a tremendous psychological influence on those who survived, resulting in a connotative relationship between the words hunger and occupation in Greek language. The material studied is work from three literary generations, underpinned by a common theme while not connected by narrative techniques and expressional means. In some of these works, hunger functions as a powerful force that awakens the revolutionary instincts of the suffering people, while in other works hunger is not a strong enough reason to lead characters to join the resistance. Some of the authors create characters that can do anything to avoid this enemy, while others choose to show how this experience has left a trauma that extends to their whole lives. Additionally, we meet characters that take a nostalgic look at the years of hunger, a time before consumerism swept away the values and the spirit that were dominant during the years of the occupation. At the same time as presenting the different ways that hunger is depicted and treated in the literary works, observations are made in relation to the linguistic and narrative techniques of the authors.
