    • Στην παρούσα εργασία αναδεικνύεται η σημασία της Πληροφοριακής Παιδείας και η αναγκαιότητά της τόσο στη διαχείριση του όγκου των πληροφοριών που σχετίζονται με την κακοήθεια μαστού, όσο και στη βελτίωση της Ποιότητας ζωής των ασθενών που υποβάλλονται σε χημειοθεραπεία. Για τον σκοπό αυτό, πραγματοποιήθηκε εμπειρική διερεύνηση με τη χρήση ερωτηματολογίων, ώστε να κατανοηθούν οι επιδράσεις της Πληροφοριακής Παιδείας στην Ποιότητα ζωής των γυναικών που υποβάλλονται σε ΧΜΘ. Ειδικότερα, μελετήθηκαν πέρα από τα γενικά στοιχεία και το ιστορικό των ασθενών, οι ανάγκες τους για πληροφόρηση, οι πηγές από τις οποίες αντλούν πληροφόρηση και τα εμπόδια που αντιμετωπίζουν στην αναζήτησή της.
    • This work highlights the importance of Information literacy and its necessity both in managing the volume of information related to breast malignancy and in improving the quality of life of patients undergoing chemotherapy. For this purpose, an empirical investigation was carried out using questionnaires to understand the effects of Information literacy on the quality of life of women undergoing chemiotherapy. In particular, it has been studied beyond the general data and patient history, their information needs, the sources from which they receive information and the obstacles they face in their search
