    • Κατά την τελευταία δεκαετία, η αγορά ανανεώσιμων πηγών ενέργειας έχει σημειώσει σημαντική ανάπτυξη στην Ελλάδα και πολλές επενδύσεις έχουν ολοκληρωθεί. Η ενσωμάτωση των ανανεώσιμων πηγών ενέργειας στο ελληνικό ενεργειακό σύστημα είχε σημαντική επίπτωση στην ελληνική οικονομία. Ο πρόσφατος νόμος αρ. 4414/2016 που συμμορφώνεται με τους κανονισμούς της ΕΕ έχει αναμορφώσει ολόκληρη την αγορά. Έχουν εφαρμοστεί πολλές αλλαγές όσον αφορά το μοντέλο αποζημίωσης των παραγωγών, έτσι ώστε οι ανανεώσιμες πηγές ενέργειας να είναι πιο ανταγωνιστικές από πλευράς κόστους και περισσότερο ευεργετικές για την κοινωνία. Αυτή η διατριβή αποσκοπεί στην αξιολόγηση των νέων επενδυτικών ευκαιριών στην αγορά, ενώ μπορεί επίσης να χρησιμοποιηθεί ως χρήσιμος οδηγός για όσους επιθυμούν να επενδύσουν σε εγκαταστάσεις ανανεώσιμων πηγών ενέργειας. Οι αναγνώστες της διατριβής θα έχουν μια σφαιρική κατανόηση της ελληνικής αγοράς ενέργειας και θα αναλυθούν τα εργαλεία για να εκτιμήσουν εάν μια τέτοια επένδυση είναι αποδεκτή και ποιο θα πρέπει να είναι το κρίσιμο μέγεθος της. Η διατριβή θα επικεντρωθεί σε σταθμούς αιολικής και ηλιακής ενέργειας, επειδή αυτές οι τεχνολογίες δεν εξαρτώνται από διακυμαινόμενα κόστη. Το μέγεθος του έργου, το μέγιστο κόστος του δανεισμού, η οικονομική αξιολόγηση του έργου, ο τύπος του έργου που θα επιλεγεί είναι μερικές από τις παραμέτρους που οι αναγνώστες θα μπορούν να ενημερωθούν μέσω αυτής της διατριβής. Επίσης, ιδιαίτερη έμφαση θα δοθεί στις επενδύσεις μικρότερου μεγέθους. Ως εκ τούτου, θα γίνει σύγκριση μεταξύ επενδύσεων σε πράσινο ομόλογο ή συμμετοχής σε μια ενεργειακή κοινότητα και ανάληψης μιας επένδυσης στον τουρισμό παρόμοιου προϋπολογισμού.
    • During the last decade, renewable energy market has witnessed significant growth in Greece and many investments have been completed. This integration of renewable energy systems in the Greek power system had a great impact in the Greek economy. The recent law 4414/2016 that complies with EU regulations has reconfigured the whole market. Many changes have been implemented in terms of the compensational model of the producers, so renewable energy to be more cost competitive and more beneficial for social welfare. This dissertation aims at evaluating the new investment opportunities in the market while it can also be even used as a useful guide for those who want to invest in renewable plants. The readers of the dissertation will have a spherical understanding of the Greek energy market and will have more tools to assess whether such an investment is acceptable and what its critical size should be. The dissertation will focus on wind and solar power plants, because these technologies do not depend on fluctuating costs. The size of the project, the maximum cost of debt, the economic evaluation of the project, the type of the project to be chosen are some of the parameters that readers could be informed through this dissertation. Special emphasis will be placed on investments of smaller magnitude as well. Therefore, a comparison will be made between investing on a green bond or participating in an energy community and undertaking an investment in tourism of a similar budget.
