    • Ο σκοπός της παρούσας μελέτης είναι η χρηματοοικονομική παρουσιάση και απεικόνιση ενός από τους πιο σημαντικούς τομείς της Ελληνικής Οικονομίας, ο χώρος της ιδιωτικής Υγείας της Ελλάδος μέσα από την παρουσίαση των μεγαλύτερων εταιρικών προφίλ εταιρειών, όπως του νοσοκομείου Υγεία, του Ιατρικού Κέντρου, της Βιοιατρικής , του Ομίλου Euromedica και της Ευρωκλινικής. Λόγω αδυναμίας του κρατικού μηχανισμού να εξυπηρετήσει την ολοένα αυξανόμενη ζήτηση για ιατρικές υπηρεσίες, οι άνωθεν εταιρείες προσφέρουν τις χρόνια εκλεπτισμένες υπηρεσίες τους στον τομέα της υγείας με γνώμονα την εξυπηρέτηση του Ελληνα πολίτη. Ως ευθυγραμμισμένο πεδίο εφαρμογής, καθορίζεται η κατανόηση των επιδόσεων στη χρηματοδότηση των συμμετοχών και η συλλογιστική που καθορίζει την οικονομική τους κατάσταση και το επίπεδο δραστηριότητας, το συγκριτικό τους πλεονέκτημα και τις ενέργειες που πρέπει να γίνουν προκειμένου να ενισχυθεί η απόδοσή τους. Για την επίτευξη των στόχων της διατριβής, θα εφαρμοστεί μια μεθοδολογία οικονομικής ανάλυσης δύο επιπέδων. Η πρώτη αφορά την ανάλυση χρονολογικών σειρών των βασικών χρηματοοικονομικών στοιχείων των εταιρειών, που παρουσιάστηκαν στις οικονομικές τους καταστάσεις, κατά την περίοδο 2006-2016. Η δεύτερη, που αναφέρεται ως μεθοδολογική προσέγγιση, είναι η χρηματοοικονομική ανάλυση των εταιρειών μέσω της κατασκευής των βασικών χρηματοοικονομικών δεικτών τους σε σχέση με τη ρευστότητα, τη δραστηριότητα, τις επιδόσεις και την κεφαλαιακή τους επάρκεια. Οι λόγοι αυτοί υπολογίζονται για την περίοδο 2006-2016 και τα συμπεράσματα παρουσιάζονται σε σύγκριση μεταξύ τους. 6 | P a g e Το Κεφάλαιο 1 υποστηρίζει την εισαγωγή της διπλωματικής αυτής διατριβής παρουσιάζοντας τα κεφάλαια που θα ακολουθήσουν καθώς και μια σύντομη περιγραφή των αποτελεσμάτων. Το Κεφάλαιο 2 θέτει το θεωρητικό υπόβαθρο, δεδομένου ότι παρέχει την οριοθέτηση και την έκταση της ανάλυσης των οικονομικών καταστάσεων και τις βασικές μεθόδους για την εκτέλεση της αντίστοιχης ανάλυσης. Το κεφάλαιο 3 παρουσιάζει συνοπτικές πληροφορίες σχετικά με τον τομέα της παγκόσμιας και οικιακής υγειονομικής περίθαλψης, εστιάζοντας κυρίως στη δομή τους, στην ανάπτυξη βασικών μεγεθών και στα κύρια χαρακτηριστικά των υποκλάσεων που αποτελούν τον τομέα (ιδιωτική και δημόσια υγειονομική περίθαλψη). Το Κεφάλαιο 4 παρέχει ανάλυση των οικονομικών μεγεθών των παραπάνω πέντε εταιρειών, βάσει των στοιχείων που παρέχουν οι οικονομικές τους καταστάσεις για τα έτη 2006-2016. Το Κεφάλαιο 5 παρέχει μια λεπτομερή ανάλυση όπως γίνεται με βάση τη ρευστότητα, τη δραστηριότητα, την κερδοφορία και τη δομή του κεφαλαίου μέσω της ανάλυσης της εξέλιξης των χρηματικών λόγων που χρησιμοποιούνται για τον λόγο αυτό.     • The key purpose of the present essay is the economic assessment of Greek private health care enterprises in the period 2006-2016 , via the analysis of its major group of companies i.e. Hygeia Hospital, Medical Center, Bioiatriki, Euromedica and Euroclinic. The private healthcare sector holds undoubtedly one of the most important role in terms of socio-economic development, globally and nationaly. The sector is characterized by the operation of large, organized companies and business groups, with long experience in healthcare market, the presence of which becomes stronger and stronger due to chronic structural problems and inability of the public sector to cover adequately the demand, but also to meet the patient requirements (poor infrastructure, lack of medical-nursing staff etc.) As an aligned scope, it is set the comprehension of performance in finance of the enterpises and the reasoning that designates their financial status and activity level, their comperative advantage and the actions needed to be performed in order to strenghen its performance. To achieve the targets of the thesis, a two-level financial analysis methodology will be applied. The first one regards the time-series analysis of data of the firms, presented in their financial statements, during 2006-2016. Secondly, reffered as methodological approach, is the financial analysis of the firms through the construction of their key financial ratios relative to their liquidity, activity, performance and capital adequacy. These ratios are calculated for 2006-2016 and the conclusions are showed in comparison to one another. In order to support the purpose of the thesis and to illustrate the comperative advantage of the health care enterprises, we found resources from Economic books also in Greek and 4 | P a g e foreign language. Moreover articles and sources from the internet found to be useful in an attempt to support the findings on the thesis. The body of the thesis is as follows: Chapter 1 sets the purpose of the thesis and introduce the general aspect of the methodology of what will be analyzed in order to support the results found in the summary. Chapter 2 sets the theoretical background, as it serves the circumscription and scope of the financial statements analysis and the basic methods for the performance of the respective analysis. Chapter 3 exhibits synoptic information about the global and domestic healthcare sector, mainly focusing on their structure, the development of key figures and the main features of the sub-markets that form the sector (private and public healthcare). Chapter 4 provides analysis of the financial figures of the above five companies, based on data provided by their financial statements for the years 2006-2016. Chapter 5 provides a detailed analysis as is conducted based on liquidity, activity, profitability and capital structure through the analysis of the evolution of financial ratios used for this reason.
