  14. Η ΕΠΙΔΡΑΣΗ ΤΟΥ ΚΟΡΩΝΟΪΟΥ ΣΤΗΝ ΕΚΠΑΙΔΕΥΣΗ ΕΝΗΛΙΚΩΝ. ΜΕΛΕΤΗ ΠΕΡΙΠΤΩΣΗΣ: ΟΙ ΕΝΗΛΙΚΟΙ ΕΚΠΑΙΔΕΥΟΜΕΝΟΙ ΤΟΥ Ε.Α.Π. ΠΟΥ ΠΑΡΑΚΟΛΟΥΘΗΣΑΝ ΤΟ ΜΑΘΗΜΑ «ΣΥΓΧΡΟΝΕΣ ΠΡΟΣΕΓΓΙΣΕΙΣ ΤΗΣ ΕΚΠΑΙΔΕΥΣΗΣ ΕΝΗΛΙΚΩΝ» ΤΟ ΑΚΑΔΗΜΑΙΚΟ ΕΤΟΣ 2019-2020. ΠΑΠΑΜΑΡΓΑΡΙΤΗ ΕΥΘΥΜΙΑ
    • Η πανδημία του Κορωνοϊού άφησε το αποτύπωμα της σε όλους τους τομείς της ζωής του ανθρώπου. Στο πέρασμα της στιγμάτισε επίσης, την εκπαίδευση των ενηλίκων. Αρκετές έρευνες διεξήχθησαν στην Ελλάδα και ανά τον κόσμο, με σκοπό να διερευνήσουν τις επιπτώσεις του κορωνοϊού στην εκπαίδευση, παρ’ όλα αυτά δεν επαρκούν και έτσι προκύπτει η ανάγκη για περαιτέρω διερεύνηση. Συγκεκριμένα, το αντικείμενο της παρούσας έρευνας αφορά τη διερεύνηση των ψυχικών και άλλων επιπτώσεων του κορωνοϊού στους ενήλικες και πως αυτές επηρέασαν τη διάθεση τους για μελέτη, τη συμμετοχή τους στις Ομαδικές Συμβουλευτικές Συναντήσεις και στις εξετάσεις. Επιπρόσθετα, διερευνώνται τα εμπόδια που ορθώθηκαν στη μάθηση των ενηλίκων και αν αυτά αναχαίτισαν την ικανοποίηση των χαρακτηριστικών των ενηλίκων εκπαιδευομένων. Τέλος, διερευνάται η εφαρμογή των αρχών της εκπαίδευσης ενηλίκων στην εξ αποστάσεως εκπαίδευση μέσω της πλατφόρμας skype for business. Η ομάδα στόχος είναι οι ενήλικοι φοιτητές που παρακολούθησαν την διδακτική ενότητα « Σύγχρονες Προσεγγίσεις στην Εκπαίδευση Ενηλίκων», κατά το ακαδημαϊκό έτος 2019-2020. Η συλλογή των δεδομένων πραγματοποιήθηκε με ποιοτική μέθοδο. Ελήφθησαν δέκα ημιδομημένες συνεντεύξεις από τους ενήλικους εκπαιδευόμενους και πέντε ημιδομημένες συνεντεύξεις από τους εκπαιδευτές τους. Από τα αποτελέσματα προκύπτει ότι το άγχος και ο φόβος για την υγεία και τη μετάδοση του ιού, το άγχος προσαρμογής στην τηλεργασία και στην τηλεκπαίδευση αποτελούν τις κύριες ψυχικές επιπτώσεις της πανδημίας του κορωνοϊού στους ενήλικους εκπαιδευομένους. Τα χαρακτηριστικά των ενηλίκων που αφορούν τις εκπαιδευτικές ανάγκες, τις προσδοκίες και τους στόχους τους δεν ικανοποιήθηκαν στην εξ αποστάσεως εκπαίδευση όσο στη δια ζώσης εκπαίδευση. Επιπρόσθετα, διαπιστώνεται ότι η έλλειψη τεχνολογικών δεξιοτήτων, η έλλειψη εκπαίδευσης στην πλατφόρμα skype for business, τα τεχνικά προβλήματα που προέκυψαν με τη συνδεσιμότητα προκάλεσαν εμπόδια στη μάθηση των ενηλίκων. Τέλος, διαπιστώθηκε ότι δεν υπήρξε η δυνατότητα εφαρμογής πολλών αρχών της εκπαίδευσης των ενηλίκων στην εξ αποστάσεως εκπαίδευση μέσω της πλατφόρμας skype for business. Οι ενήλικοι εκπαιδευόμενοι δεν είχαν ενεργητική συμμετοχή, μιας και η πλατφόρμα skype for business δεν έδινε τη δυνατότητα εφαρμογής εκπαιδευτικών τεχνικών που ενισχύουν την ενεργητική συμμετοχή. Επιπλέον, δεν αισθάνονταν ενταγμένοι στην ομάδα και δήλωσαν ότι δε δημιουργήθηκε μαθησιακό κλίμα στην εξ αποστάσεως εκπαίδευση όσο στη δια ζώσης.
    • The COVID-19 pandemic has left its mark on every aspect of human life. Its spread has also highly affected adult education. Several studies have been conducted in Greece and around the world in order to investigate the impact of the coronavirus on education, however, they are not sufficient and, thus, the need for further investigation has arisen. Specifically, the subject of the present study is the investigation of both mental and other kinds of effects on adults and how these have affected their willingness to study, and their participation in Tutorials and examinations. In addition, the barriers that were raised in adult learning and whether they hindered the satisfaction of the characteristics of adult learners are investigated. Finally, the application of the principles of adult education in distance learning through the Skype for business platform is investigated. The target group are the adult students that attended the course “Contemporary Approaches to Adult Education’’ during the academic year 2019-2020. Data was collected using the qualitative method. Ten semi-structured interviews were conducted with the adult learners and five semi-structured interviews were conducted with their instructors. According to the results, the stress and the fear concerning health and the transmission of the virus, as well as the stress on adjusting to remote working and distance learning comprise the main psychological consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic on adult learners. The adult characteristics that have to do with their educational needs, expectations and goals were not met during distance learning as they used to during face-to-face learning. Furthermore, it is found that the lack of technological skills, the lack of training on the Skype for business platform, along with the network connectivity problems that have arisen were a major obstacle in adult learning. Last but not least, it was established that it was not possible to apply many of the adult education principles on distance learning through the Skype for business platform. The adult learners did not participate actively, since the Skype for business platform did not enable them to apply educational techniques that promote active participation. In addition, they did not feel part of the group and they stated that there was no learning atmosphere, like the one existing in face-to-face learning.
