    • Στην παρούσα εργασία, επιχειρείται η διερεύνηση των επιμορφωτικών αναγκών των εκπαι-δευτών των Ινστιτούτων Επαγγελματικής Κατάρτισης (ΙΕΚ) και συγκεκριμενοποιείται στους εκπαιδευτές του ΙΕΚ Γρεβενών. Η διερεύνηση των επιμορφωτικών αναγκών στο χώρο των ΙΕΚ είναι σημαντική γιατί εστιάζει σε ένα μεγάλο μέρος του εκπαιδευτι-κού δυναμικού της χώρας μας, συνδυάζοντας της ανάγκες της Επαγγελματικής εκπαίδευσης με το ευρύτερο πεδίο της Εκπαίδευσης Ενηλίκων και της πιθανής εφαρμογής των βασικών αρχών της στον τομέα της κατάρτισης. Η έρευνα διενεργήθηκε την περίοδο Φεβρουάριος – Μάιος του 2018 και συμμετείχαν 12 εκπαιδευτές τεσσάρων διαφορετικών ειδικοτήτων του ΙΕΚ Γρεβενών. Επιλέχθηκε και ε-φαρμόστηκε η ποιοτική ερευνητική μέθοδος, με την λήψη αντίστοιχου αριθμού ημιδομημέ-νων συνεντεύξεων. Από έρευνα προέκυψε, ότι οι εκπαιδευτές του Ι.Ε.Κ. Γρεβενών, ανα-γνωρίζουν την αναγκαιότητα της συνεχιζόμενης μάθησης, ως απαραίτητη για την επιτέλεση του έργου τους, ενώ στο μεγαλύτερο μέρος τους, ως πιστοποιημένοι εκπαιδευτές ενηλίκων, καταδεικνύουν την καταλυτική συμβολή της εφαρμογής των βασικών αρχών της Εκπαίδευ-σης Ενηλίκων στην διαδικασία της κατάρτισης. Οι εκπαιδευτές, αποδέχονται και αναδεικνύουν την ύπαρξη αδυναμιών και ελλείψεων, τόσο στο μέρος που αφορά στο επίσημο θεσμικό πλαίσιο της λειτουργίας των ΙΕΚ, όσο και σε προσωπικό επίπεδο, ενώ προτείνουν συγκεκριμένες λύσεις και ενέργειες για την κάλυψη αυτών, δίνοντας ενδεικτικές κατευθυντήριες γραμμές στο σχεδιασμό μελλοντικών επιμορ-φωτικών δράσεων
    • In this research, the training needs of Greek Public Vocational Training Institutions (IEK) trainers are being investigated and are specified to the trainers of IEK Grevena. The investiga-tion of training needs in the area of IEK is important because it focuses on a large part of the educational potential of our country, combining the needs of Vocational Educational Training with the wider field of Adult Education and the possible implementation of its core principles in the field of training. The survey was conducted between February and May 2018 and 12 trainers of four different specialties from IEK Grevena participated. A qualitative research method has been selected and applied, with a corresponding number of semi-structured interviews. The research re-vealed that the instructors of IEK Grevena recognize the necessity of continuous learning as necessary for the performance of their work, while most of them, as certified adult trainers, demonstrate the catalytic contribution of implementing the basic principles of Adult Educa-tion in the educational process. Trainers accept and explicitly state the existence of weaknesses and shortcomings, both in the part concerning the official institutional framework of the IEK operation and also at the per-sonal level, and propose specific solutions and actions to bypass them, providing indicative guidelines for the design of future training actions.
