Σκοπός της εργασίας ήταν να διερευνήσει τα αποτελέσματα της διδασκαλίας στρατηγικών κατανόησης προφορικού λόγου με τη χρήση αυθεντικού υλικού σε μαθητές δημοτικού οι οποίοι μαθαίνουν την Αγγλική ως ξένη γλώσσα. Διερευνήθηκε κ η στάση των μαθητών απέναντι στην εκμάθηση των στρατηγικών. Στην έρευνα συμμετείχαν οι μαθητές από τα δύο τμήματα της 6ης τάξης ενός δημοτικού σχολείου .
The present research investigates if strategy instruction and authentic input application can enhance Greek EFL learners listening skill. It aims to investigate EFL learners' attitude to the teaching intervention. The study involved two groups of primary school learners; one was the experimental group and the other was the control group. The experimental group received the listening strategy application, while the other received no such training. Pretest and post test measurements were administrated to both groups to investigate the impact of the listening strategy instruction and the authentic input tasks. In addition, interviews were conducted with the students of the experimental group to investigate learners’ attitude to the teaching intervention.
