Σε αυτή τη διπλωματική εργασία, έγινε μια προσπάθεια να αποδειχθεί, ότι η υποβοηθούμενη με υπολογιστές γλωσσική μάθηση όχι μόνο διευκολύνει την προσβασιμότητα σε πληροφορίες, αλλά επίσης δημιουργεί το κατάλληλο περιβάλλον, προκειμένου να ενισχυθούν οι εκπαιδευόμενοι τόσο με γνωστικές όσο και με μεταγνωστικές δεξιότητες καθώς και να προετοιμαστούν προκειμένου να βρίσκονται σε θέση να αποδώσουν από τις πληροφορίες και τις δεξιότητες που έχουν αποκτηθεί. Και ακόμη η εξεταζόμενη αυτή περίπτωση προσπαθεί να εξιχνιάσει εάν τόσο οι υπολογιστές αλλά και το διαδίκτυο επιβλήθηκαν σαν φυσικό αποτέλεσμα της τεχνολογικής εξέλιξης, είτε αν τελικά υιοθετήθηκαν από επιλογή, λειτουργώντας ως κίνητρο και ως εργαλεία σημαντικής αποδοτικότητας.
In the case study of this dissertation, an effort has been made to prove that CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning), not only facilitates accessibility to information, but also creates the appropriate environment to enhance learners with both cognitive and metacognitive skills and prepare them in order to be able to attribute from the information and skills acquired. And also whether computers and the web have been imposed on people as a natural consequence of technological evolution, or whether they have been adopted by choice, as a highly motivating and eventually particularly efficient tools.
