    • Η παρούσα εργασία εξετάζει τη διδασκαλία των Αρχαίων Ελληνικών (ΑΕ) στη Β/θμια εκπαίδευση σε σχέση με σύγχρονες προσεγγίσεις για τη διαχρονία της Ελληνικής. Η ερευνητική μέθοδος που χρησιμοποιήθηκε για τη συλλογή και ανάλυση των δεδομένων ήταν η ποιοτική. Για τη συλλογή των δεδομένων εξετάστηκαν τα Αναλυτικά Προγράμματα (ΑΠ) του Γυμνασίου και του Λυκείου των ετών 2002, 2003, 2011, 2014, 2015, οι οδηγίες προς τον εκπαιδευτικό για τη διδασκαλία των φιλολογικών μαθημάτων (2016-2020), τα βιβλία του εκπαιδευτικού (ΒΕ) και του μαθητή των τριών τάξεων του Γυμνασίου και του Λυκείου. Σύμφωνα με τα αποτελέσματα, κατά τη διδασκαλία των ΑΕ στη Β/θμια Εκπαίδευση αξιοποιούνται σύγχρονες προσεγγίσεις της διαχρονίας της Ελληνικής κυρίως μέσω της σύνδεσης της ΑΕ και της Νέας Ελληνικής (ΝΕ) μέσα από τον παραλληλισμό, την αναζήτηση ομοιοτήτων και διαφορών και τη συγκριτική προσέγγιση των δύο γλωσσικών συστημάτων μέσα από διάφορα επίπεδα γλωσσικής ανάλυσης (γραμματική, σύνταξη, λεξιλόγιο). Ακόμα, αξιοποιείται η διαχρονική προσέγγιση της γλώσσας, με τη διδασκαλία να κινείται από τη ΝΕ προς την ΑΕ. Επιπλέον, δεν λείπει και η προσέγγιση της ΑΕ μέσω της επαφής των μαθητών με μεταφρασμένα στη ΝΕ αρχαιοελληνικά κείμενα. Εξάλλου, παρατηρήθηκε ότι η συνέχεια τη Ελληνικής διδάσκεται μέσα από τη συγκριτική προσέγγιση κυρίως της ΑΕ και της ΝΕ, ενώ δεν εντοπίστηκαν πολλές αναφορές σε προηγούμενες περιόδους της Ελληνικής. Τέλος, η εξέλιξη της Ελληνικής προβάλλεται και μέσα από το λεξιλόγιο, αφού τόσο η επαφή του μαθητή με τη χρήση λέξεων από το παρελθόν που χρησιμοποιούνται μέχρι σήμερα με ίδια ή διαφορετική σημασία, όσο και η επαφή με τα λόγια στοιχεία και τους νεοκλασικούς σχηματισμούς, καθιστά πιο κατανοητή την ενότητα και τη διαχρονία της Ελληνικής.
    • The present dissertation examines the teaching of Ancient Greek in Modern Greek Secondary Education in relation to modern approaches concerning the diachrony of Greek. The research method that was used for the collection of data was qualitative. The aspects that were examined for the collection of data were the extensive gymnasium and high school syllabus of 2002, 2003, 2011, 2014, 2015, the guidelines to teachers concerning teaching literary subjects (2016-2020), and the teachers’ and students’ books of the three classes of Gymnasium and High school. According to the results, modern approaches of the diachrony of the Greek language are taken into account for the teaching of Ancient Greek in Secondary Education. This happens mainly through the connection of Ancient and Modern Greek, through parallelism, the search of similarities and differences and the comparative approach of the two linguistic systems through various levels of linguistic analysis (e.g. grammar, syntax, vocabulary). In addition, the diachronic approach is used, while at the same time teaching begins with Modern Greek and ends with Ancient Greek. Furthermore, Ancient Greek is also approached through the contact of students with Ancient Greek texts translated in Modern Greek. Moreover, it was observed that the continuation of the Greek language is taught through the comparative approach, mainly of Ancient and Modern Greek, while there are not many references in other periods of the history of Greek. Finally, the evolution of the Greek language is shown through the vocabulary, since the students’ contact with the use of words that go back to older periods of Greek and are still used today with the same or different meaning, as well as the contact with learned elements and neoclassical formations, make the unity and the diachrony of the Greek language more comprehensible for the students.
