    • Η διπλωματική εργασία ετούτη που γράφηκε με ψυχή και κόπο είχε εξαρχής ως στόχο και αντικείμενο την διερεύνηση της χρήσης των τεχνολογιών Διάχυτου και Κινητού Υπολογισμού και του Διαδικτύου Αντικειμένων στην Εκπαίδευση STEM σε επίπεδο μέσης εκπαίδευσης. Η εργασία χωρίζεται σε δύο μέρη. Στο πρώτο μέρος γίνεται βιβλιογραφική μελέτη της διεθνούς και ελληνικής βιβλιογραφίας με σκοπό την αποσαφήνιση σύγχρονων εννοιών και τεχνολογιών και τον καθορισμό ενός πλαισίου στις γνωστικές περιοχές μέσα στις οποίες θα κινηθεί η διπλωματική τόσο στο πρώτο όσο και στο δεύτερο μέρος. Στη συνέχεια παρουσιάζονται μερικά παραδείγματα έργων συναφών με το αντικείμενο που περιγράψαμε. Στο δεύτερο μέρος περιγράφεται τεχνικά η ανάπτυξη ενός πρωτότυπου συστήματος UMI και η εκπαιδευτική δραστηριότητα με τα πειράματα φυσικής που αναπτύχθηκε στα πλαίσια της έρευνας πεδίου που διεξαγάγαμε σε ένα Γυμνάσιο για να αξιολογήσουμε το σύστημα αυτό. Στο τέλος αναλύονται τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας και εξάγονται τα συμπεράσματα.
    • Right from the beginning, the main objective of this dissertation, which was written with a lot of soul and effort, was the investigation of the utility of Pervasive and Mobile Computing Systems and of the Internet of Things in STEM Education at Secondary Education level. The dissertation is divided in two parts. In the first part, there is research into international and Greek bibliography with a view to deciphering modern terms and technologies and determining the context of the cognitive areas in which this dissertation will navigate both in the first and in the second part. Subsequently, there are some examples presented, of works relevant to the subject described before. In the second part there is a technical description of the development of an original UMI system, as well as an educational activity involving Physics experiments. This educational activity was designed as part of field research which was carried out at a Secondary Education Institution (High School), with the aim of evaluating this system. At the end of the dissertation there is an analysis of the results of the research and conclusions are drawn.
