    • Είναι γεγονός πως η κοινωνία των πολιτών, ειδικά σε περιόδους έντονης κοινωνικής και οικονομικής κρίσης δραστηριοποιείται και αναλαμβάνει να δώσει λύσεις σε ανάγκες που μένουν ακάλυπτες από την αγορά και το κράτος. Στην περίπτωση του Κιλκίς αυτό συνέβη μέσα από μια ομάδα ενεργών πολιτών με έντονη κοινωνική και οικολογική δράση. Η ομάδα αυτή περνώντας από το στάδιο της κινηματικής δράσης και του εθελοντισμού προχώρησε στη σύσταση σωματείου προκειμένου να αντιμετωπίσει οργανωμένα την προσφυγική κρίση και τις πολλαπλές ανάγκες της τοπικής κοινωνίας. Οι εθελοντές προχώρησαν στην απόφαση αυτή αναλογιζόμενοι την έλλειψη οργανωμένου σχεδίου από το κράτος και τα πολλαπλά προβλήματα που προκάλεσε η κατάσταση αυτή στην τοπική κοινωνία του Κιλκίς. Έπειτα από την εκπόνηση μελέτης και μετά από διαβουλεύσεις και επικοινωνία με κρατικούς και τοπικούς φορείς, οι εθελοντές σύστησαν σωματείο με την επωνυμία «OMNES». Το σωματείο ανέλαβε τη διαχείριση του προβλήματος, την στέγαση και την ένταξη των προσφύγων ενώ ταυτόχρονα προσπαθούσε να βρει λύσεις για τις ντόπιες ευάλωτες ομάδες του πληθυσμού. Αυτή ήταν και η αρχή για να συνεχιστεί μια προσπάθεια να οικοδομηθεί η κοινωνία των πολιτών για να δημιουργήσει συλλογικότητες και συνέργειες που θα λειτουργήσουν με σκοπό την εξεύρεση νέων λύσεων με βάση τις αρχές της κοινωνικής και αλληλέγγυας οικονομίας. Στην προσπάθεια να βρεθούν νέες λύσεις για να καταπολεμηθεί το έντονο πρόβλημα της ανεργίας στον τόπο του Κιλκίς, ο σύλλογος διατύπωσε διάφορες εναλλακτικές προτάσεις ανάπτυξης της κοινωνικής επιχειρηματικότητας, πάντα με κοινωνικό και οικολογικό πρόσημο. Οι προκλήσεις και οι δυσκολίες οδήγησαν την ομάδα στην εύρεση νέων λύσεων και στην οικοδόμηση ενός οικοσυστήματος κοινωνικής και αλληλέγγυας οικονομίας, με έμφαση στην κοινωνική καινοτομία. Με αυτό τον τρόπο παρουσίασε τις δύο τελευταίες προτάσεις, οι οποίες έχουν ξεκινήσει. Πρόκειται για το «staramaki», ένα καλαμάκι από σιτάρι που αντικαθιστά το πλαστικό καλαμάκι και το «kaφsimo» δηλαδή καύσιμη ύλη από υπολείμματα καφε. Τα δύο αυτά εγχειρήματα βασίζονται στην κυκλική οικονομία καθώς παράγονται από πρώτη ύλη που έως τώρα αποτελούσε υποπροιόν ή υπόλειμμα. Σκοπός της εργασίας είναι να εστιάσει στην προσπάθεια οικοδόμησης οικοσυστήματος κοινωνικής και αλληλέγγυας οικονομίας στο Κιλκίς και να αναλύσει την κοινωνική καινοτομία που παράγεται από τις δράσεις αυτές. Συγκεκριμένα στην εργασία αναλύονται οι προσπάθειες που έχουν γίνει, οι προτάσεις που θέτονται ως λύσεις σε προσβλήματα της τοπικής κοινωνίας, η κοινωνική καινοτομία που παράγεται αλλά και οι συνέργειες που έχουν γίνει με σκοπό να οικοδομηθεί ένα νέο μοντελό οικονομικής ανάπτυξης σε τοπικό επίπεδο.
    • It is a fact that civil society, especially in periods of intense social and financial crisis, is active and tries to provide solutions to needs that remain unsatisfied by the market and the state. In the case of Kilkis this happened through a group of active citizens with intense social and ecological action. This group through the stage of movement and volunteerism has set up a union in order to deal with the refugee crisis, takes action in order to give solutions to the needs that remain unsatisfied by the market and the state. Regarding the city of Kilkis this case was dealt through a group of active citizens with intense social and ecological action. This specific group initiated from the stage of movements and volunteerism moved on to the formation of an organization in order to deal with the refugee crisis and the multiple needs of the local community. The volunteers took this decision taking into consideration the lack of an organized state plan and the multiple problems caused by this situation that affected the local community of Kilkis. After conducting the study, negotiating and contact with the local and state sectors, an organization under the name “OMNES” was founded by the volunteers. This organization took over the handling of the issue, the accommodation and integration of the refugees and simultaneously attempted to find solutions fot the local vulnerable population groups. This was just the beginning of an effort to be continued in order to structure a civil society to create collectivity, cooperation and partnership with the aim to find new solutions based on social and solidarity economy principles. Upon finding new solutions to tackle the intense unemployment issue in the region of Kilkis, the organization formulated several alternative development initiatives of social entepreneurship, always taking into consideration the social and ecological benefits. The challenges and the difficulties led the organization to find new solutions and to build an ecosystem of cooperation with an emphasis on social innovation. Omnes presented the last two projects that have already been put in action: “Staramaki”a straw made of wheat that replaces plastic, and “Kafsimo” a combustible fuel made from remains of coffee grains. These two projects are based on a circular economy, since they depend on the use of raw material that up to now were considered by-products or residues. The purpose of this assignment is to focus on the effort being made to build an ecosystem of cooperation in the region of Kilkis and additionally to analyze the social innovation that is being produced through these actions. Specifically this project analyzes all the efforts that have been made, the suggestions who are being placed as solutions to all the challenges that the local society is facing, the social innovation that is being developed but also all the other partnerships who were created in order to facilitate a new economical growth model in a local aspect.
