    • H παρούσα μελέτη εξετάζει τα ανθρώπινα δικαιώματα των προσφύγων ανηλίκων και την παραβίαση ή προστασία τους στην Ελλάδα και γενικότερα στις ευρωπαϊκές χώρες. Κύριος στόχος είναι η διερεύνηση της εφαρμογής ή καταπάτησης των δικαιωμάτων των ασυνόδευτων προσφύγων στην εκπαίδευση, στην σίτιση, στην νομική εκπροσώπηση,στην ψυχολογική υποστήριξη καθώς και στις συνθήκες διαβίωσης. Στοιχεία προηγούμενων ερευνών και δικαστικών αποφάσεων του Ευρωπαϊκού Δικαστηρίου Ανθρωπίνων Δικαιωμάτων χρησιμοποιήθηκαν ως το θεωρητικό πλαίσιο της έρευνας. Η ενσωμάτωση των προσφύγων- εφήβων στην Ελλάδα μελετήθηκε σε συνάρτηση με την εφαρμογή των δικαιωμάτων τους και την συμμετοχή τους σε κοινωνικά δρώμενα και εκπαιδευτικές και ψυχαγωγικές δραστηριότητες. Η μεθοδολογία που εφαρμόστηκε ήταν η εθνογραφική προσέγγιση. Η έρευνα υλοποιήθηκε σε δομή φιλοξενίας ασυνόδευτων ανηλίκων στην Ανατολική Θεσσαλονίκη. Αρχικά πραγματοποιήθηκε παρατήρηση των δραστηριοτήτων και δράσεων της δομής και στην συνέχεια έγινε διεξαγωγή συνεντεύξεων των εργαζόμενων του οργανισμού. Οι σημειώσεις παρατήρησης σε συνδυασμό με την απομαγνητοφώνηση και ανάλυση των συνεντεύξεων οδήγησαν στην διεξαγωγή των συμπερασμάτων. Τέλος παρουσιάζονται προτάσεις για μελλοντικές έρευνες και ωφέλιμες πρακτικές που έχουν ακολουθηθεί σε άλλες ευρωπαϊκές χώρες.
    • Human rights play a critical role in the maintenance of society’s balance and public order. In particular, the maintenance and preservation of human rights protects also vulnerable groups such as refugees and children. This ethnographic research explores the maintenance or the violation of the rights that each unaccompanied minor has in the host society. It is also indicated the policies that each state, especially Greek government use to protect refugee children that they are alone. In recent years, extensive efforts have been applied and numerous researches have focused on the implementation and the compliance of the laws related with human rights and the international framework that gives the basic guidelines for child’s and human’s rights protection. This study will also examine refugee children from another perspective of view, going through their daily live and the application or violation of their rights to have a well- being and start a new life in a new country. The research offers many important insights into the different treatment that unaccompanied minors have in Accommodation Centers to those that they live independent. Certainly, this research takes into account the broader sociopolitical context that dominates in Greece and focus on the integration that refugee children have and to what extent is achieved or failed.
