This research, conducted within the framework of the Master's program "Language Teaching to Refugees and Migrants" at the Hellenic Open University (HOU), explores inclusive teaching practices in adult immigrant education. The study aimed to investigate the factors motivating immigrants to participate in adult education programs, the practices that foster a sense of belonging, what obstacles they encounter as immigrant learners, and the ways in which they believe they could be better supported in the adult education program. To address these research questions, the researcher chose qualitative research and semi-interview as the primary data collection tool. The research took place at a non-governmental organization in Athens, where ten interviewees participated. The findings yielded useful and important information about the motivations driving immigrants to engage in adult education programs, as well as the barriers they face throughout the learning process. Moreover, the results shed light on the practices that make them feel included and how, in their opinion, they could be better supported during adult education.
