    • This dissertation explores the dynamics of leadership and performance management in multicultural teams, examining how these factors affect motivation and employee productivity.  Diverse teams with people from various cultural backgrounds and locations have been increasingly common in today’s globalized business environment. A solid understanding of how to successfully lead and manage such teams is crucial for companies to remain competitive and successful on a global scale. This study, through a literature review, examines relevant leadership theories and performance management methods and highlights the importance of Cultural Intelligence (CQ), flexible adaptive leadership styles and strong communication strategies as essential tools for managing these diverse teams effectively. It aims to offer practical suggestions for organizations, such as the implementation of inclusive leadership styles, the investment in cultural intelligence training and the improvement of communication methods.
