This research aims to determine the effects of two different leadership approaches (Transactional and Transformational) in conjunction with talent management on the
influence of development and performance of an organization. Initially, a comprehensive review of existing literature was conducted, then, hypotheses were developed and examined using primary quantitative methods, specifically a survey. This inquiry encompassed 80 personnel from the semiconductor sector. Data evaluation, which employed descriptive techniques, indicated that transformational leadership style exhibits a mediating influence on the relationship between organizational development and talent management, while the transactional leadership role in the same relationship is less pronounced, particularly in organizational performance. Furthermore, a positive and strong correlation was found between organizational development, performance, and talent management. Both affective
and normative employee commitment were observed to significantly mediate the
relationship of talent management and organizational performance and development, while continuance commitment did not reveal a statistically meaningful mediating impact. The research wraps up by acknowledging its constraints and underscores the implications for both theory and practice while suggesting potential directions for future investigation.
