    • This thesis explores the intersection of Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and Leadership Styles
      within the Municipality of Lefkada, utilizing data from 43 participants. Employing SPSS
      software for analysis, the study employed MLQX-5 and WLEIS questionnaires to assess
      both employee and leader perspectives. Results indicate a noteworthy trend: employees
      exhibit self-awareness concerning their emotions but display a deficit in empathetic
      understanding. Concurrently, leaders showcase motivational attributes, yet reveal
      limitations in problem-solving skills. The findings underscore the importance of bridging
      these gaps to enhance organizational dynamics. This study contributes valuable insights
      for municipality leadership development programs, emphasizing the significance of a
      comprehensive approach to emotional intelligence, combining self-awareness, empathy,
      motivation, and problem-solving skills for effective leadership in the context of Lefkada's
      local governance.

    • Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία διερευνά τη σχέση της Συναισθηματικής Νοημοσύνης
      (EQ) και των Στυλ Ηγεσίας στο Δήμο Λευκάδας, αξιοποιώντας δεδομένα από 43
      συμμετέχοντες. Χρησιμοποιώντας λογισμικό SPSS για ανάλυση, η μελέτη χρησιμοποίησε
      ερωτηματολόγια MLQX-5 και WLEIS για να αξιολογήσει τόσο τις προοπτικές των
      εργαζομένων όσο και των ηγετών. Τα αποτελέσματα υποδεικνύουν μια αξιοσημείωτη
      τάση: οι εργαζόμενοι επιδεικνύουν αυτογνωσία σχετικά με τα συναισθήματά τους, αλλά
      παρουσιάζουν έλλειμμα στην κατανόηση της ενσυναίσθησης. Ταυτόχρονα, οι ηγέτες
      επιδεικνύουν κίνητρα, αλλά αποκαλύπτουν περιορισμούς στις δεξιότητες επίλυσης
      προβλημάτων. Τα ευρήματα υπογραμμίζουν τη σημασία της γεφύρωσης αυτών των
      κενών για την ενίσχυση της οργανωτικής δυναμικής. Αυτή η μελέτη συνεισφέρει
      πολύτιμες γνώσεις για προγράμματα ανάπτυξης ηγεσίας του δήμου, τονίζοντας τη
      σημασία μιας συνολικής προσέγγισης της συναισθηματικής νοημοσύνης, που συνδυάζει
      την αυτογνωσία, την ενσυναίσθηση, τα κίνητρα και τις δεξιότητες επίλυσης προβλημάτων
      για αποτελεσματική ηγεσία στο πλαίσιο της τοπικής διακυβέρνησης της Λευκάδας.
