    • Μέσα από αυτή τη γραπτή έρευνα προσπαθούμε να αγγίξουμε ολιστικά το ζήτημα της σφυριχτής γλώσσας τόσο ανά τον κόσμο, όσο και στον ελλαδικό χώρο. Ως φορέας πολιτισμού και επικοινωνίας και ως γλωσσολογικό στοιχείο αρχικά και έπειτα, ως στοιχείο της άυλης πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς. Μελετάται ο ρόλος της UNESCO, δίνεται ο ορισμός και η ανάλυση του όρου άυλη κληρονομιά, καθώς και τα κριτήρια ένταξης στον κατάλογο Άυλης Πολιτιστικής Κληρονομιάς. Αναλύεται η σφυριχτή γλώσσα ως διαχρονικότητα και εναλλακτική μορφή επικοινωνίας και παρουσιάζονται παραδείγματα της γλώσσας αυτής από διάφορα μέρη του κόσμου, όπως τα Κανάρια Νησιά, η Τουρκία, το Μεξικό, τα Πυρηναία Όρη και η σφυριχτή γλώσσα των Hmong. Επίσης, ερευνάται η σφυριχτή γλώσσα σε επιστημονικό και μουσικολογικό πλαίσιο. Ειδικότερα, μελετάται η σφυριχτή γλώσσα του χωριού Αντιά Ευβοίας. Αναφέρονται τα έργα του Συλλόγου Αντιωτών σχετικά με τη διαφύλαξη και τη διάδοση της γλώσσας, καθώς και ο ρόλος των νέων ανθρώπων στη συντήρηση αυτής.
    • Through this research we try to approach holistically the issue of the whistle language both around the world and in Greece, as a carrier of culture and communication, as a linguistic element and as an element of immaterial cultural heritage. The role of UNESCO is studied, the definition and analysis of the term intangible heritage is given, as well as the criteria for inclusion in the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage. The whistle language is analyzed as a timelessness and an alternative form of communication and examples of this language from different parts of the world such as the Canary Islands, Turkey, Mexico, the Pyrenees Mountains and the Hmong whistle language are presented. Whistle language is also explored in a scientific and musicological context. Specifically, it is analyzed the whistle language of the village of Antia Euboea. The works of the Antiotes Association concerning the preservation and dissemination of the language are mentioned, as well as the important role of young people in its preservation.
