    • Είναι διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένο γεγονός ότι η χρηματοπιστωτική κρίση του 2008 επηρέασε όλες τις οικονομίες και όλους τους επιχειρηματικούς τομείς. Οι αλλαγές που έγιναν αυτά τα δύσκολα χρόνια είχαν συχνά ως αποτέλεσμα το κλείσιμο αρκετών εταιρειών που δεν μπόρεσαν να ανταπεξέλθουν ή να προσαρμοστούν στο νέο περιβάλλον. Το κύριο μέρος αυτής της διπλωματικής εργασίας εξετάζει τον αντίκτυπο και τις συνέπειες της κρίσης στον ευαίσθητο τομέα της Φροντίδας Υγείας. Αυτό επιτυγχάνεται μέσω της εξέτασης της πορείας λειτουργίας δύο συγκεκριμένων εταιρειών στην Ελλάδα, συμπεριλαμβανομένων και των νομοθετικών παρεμβάσεων που τις επηρέασαν. Τα πρώτα κεφάλαια είναι μια εισαγωγική ενότητα, με την εννοιολογική προσέγγιση της βιομηχανίας Ιατρικών Συσκευών, την ανάλυση της διεθνούς αγοράς και την αντιστοίχιση / προώθηση προϊόντων στην Ελλάδα. Τα ακόλουθα κεφάλαια περιγράφουν την έναρξη και τον αντίκτυπο της κρίσης υγείας, καθώς και τα μέτρα που έλαβε ο Κρατικός Μηχανισμός Χρηματοπιστωτικής Σταθερότητας στον τομέα της Υγείας με την εμβάθυνση των προϊόντων Ostomy, καθώς και ορισμένες πολιτικές που έχουν επηρεάσει την κερδοφορία όλης της υγείας -ενεργές βιομηχανίες (rebate, claw back). Επίσης, στα επόμενα κεφάλαια παρουσιάζουμε τις Convatec και Hollister, τις επιλογές τους για την αντιμετώπιση της κρίσης και συγκρίνουμε τα αποτελέσματα των εταιρειών και την πρόοδό τους για την περίοδο 2013 - 2017, με τη μόνη μέθοδο που μπορούμε να χρησιμοποιήσουμε από τα διαθέσιμα οικονομικά δεδομένα μας, μέσω των Οικονομικών Αναλογιών.
    • It is an internationally recognized fact that the 2008 financial crisis affected all economies and all business sectors. The changes made during these difficult years have often resulted in the closure of several companies that have been unable to cope or adapt to the new environment. The main part of this dissertation examines the impact and the consequences of the crisis on the sensitive sector of Health Care. This is achieved through the examination of the course of operation two specific companies in Greece, including also the legislative interventions that affected them. The first chapters are an introductory section, with the conceptual approach of the Medical Devices industry, the analysis of the international market, and the matching / promotion of products in Greece. The following chapters describe the beginning and impact of the health crisis, as well as the measures taken by the State Mechanism for Financial Stability in the Health Care sector by deepening in Ostomy Products, as well as certain policies that have affected the profitability of all health-active industries (rebate, claw back). Also, in the following chapters we present Convatec and Hollister, their options for dealing with the crisis and we compare the results of the companies and their progress for the period 2013 – 2017, with the only method we can use from the financial data available to us, through the Financial Ratios.
