    • Βασικό θέμα της παρούσας εργασίας είναι το αίτημα ένταξης της Κρητικής Μαντινάδας στον Κατάλογο Άυλης Πολιτιστικής Κληρονομιάς της UNESCO. Ο όρος «Άυλη Πολιτιστική Κληρονομιά» αναφέρεται στις προφορικές παραδόσεις και εκφράσεις, στις κοινωνικές πρακτικές και τελετουργίες και παραδοσιακές αντιλήψεις. Ο νέος όρος παγιώθηκε το 2003 με τη Σύμβαση για τη Διαφύλαξη της Άυλης Πολιτιστικής Κληρονομιάς. Η Κρητική Μαντινάδα είναι ένα ποιητικό είδος με μακραίωνη ιστορία και συνεχίζει να αποτελεί ζωντανή μορφή έκφρασης και ποιητικής δημιουργίας. Στόχος της εργασίας είναι η ανάδειξη του αιτήματος ένταξης της Μαντινάδας στους Καταλόγους της UNESCO. Για την ενίσχυση του αιτήματος διεξήχθη στο πλαίσιο της εργασίας τόσο πρωτογενής, όσο και δευτερογενής έρευνα, ώστε να αποδειχθεί ότι η Κρητική Μαντινάδα πληροί όλες τις προϋποθέσεις ένταξης στους Καταλόγους. Τέλος, παρατίθενται συμπεράσματα και προτάσεις περαιτέρω ανάδειξης Μαντινάδας.
    • The main theme of this paper is the request for the inclusion of Cretan Mantinada in the UNESCO List of Intangible Cultural Heritage. The term «Intangible Cultural Heritage» refers to oral traditions and expressions, social practices and rituals and traditional perceptions. The new term was consolidated in 2003 by the Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage. Cretan Mantinada is a poetic genre with a long history and continues to be a lively form of expression and poetic creation. The aim of this paper is to highlight the request for the inclusion of Mantinada in the UNESCO Directories. To support the request, both primary and secondary research was carried out in order to prove that the Cretan Mantinada fulfills all the conditions for inclusion in the Catalogs. Finally, conclusions and suggestions for further promotion of Mantinada are presented.
