    • Η παρούσα μεταπτυχιακή εργασία αφορά μια εμπειρική μελέτη ερευνητικού χαρακτήρα που αναφέρεται στην έννοια της Μετασχηματίζουσας Μάθησης μέσω της τέχνης και αποτελεί καινοτομία και μια εναλλακτική πρωτότυπη διδακτική πρόταση. Η ποιοτική έρευνα υλοποιήθηκε με τη μορφή εκπαιδευτικής παρέμβασης στους φοιτητές και τις φοιτήτριες του Παιδαγωγικού τμήματος του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών στο χώρο ενός Πειραματικού Δημοτικού Σχολείου μετά τη λήξη του διδακτικού ωραρίου. Σκοπός της παρούσας εργασίας είναι η αξιοποίηση της τέχνης ως εργαλείο μετασχηματισμού των αντιλήψεων των μελλοντικών εκπαιδευτικών με αφορμή την προσφυγική κρίση. Την εποχή των μεγάλων προσφυγικών ροών στη χώρα μας, υπάρχει ανάγκη προσαρμογής του σχολείου στα νέα πολιτισμικά δεδομένα. Αυτή απαιτεί αλλαγές στο τρόπο λειτουργίας του σχολείου, με νέες απαιτήσεις ιδιαίτερα στους νέους εκκολαπτόμενους φοιτητές. Τέλος, ως προς τα αποτελέσματα της, προέκυψε ότι οι μελλοντικοί εκπαιδευτικοί για να λειτουργήσουν αποτελεσματικά στις τάξεις διδασκαλίας και να για να μπορέσουν να βοηθήσουν μαθητές από διαφορετικούς πολιτισμούς, οφείλουν και οι ίδιοι να έχουν διαμορφώσει δημοκρατικές στάσεις, να αναλαμβάνουν προσωπική και κοινωνική δράση για να δημιουργήσουν μια πιο ανθρώπινη, πολυπολιτισμική κοινωνία για τους πρόσφυγες. Ακόμη διαπιστώθηκε ότι η μεσολάβηση της τέχνης και η εφαρμογή της συγκεκριμένης μεθόδου έδωσε στους φοιτητές και στις φοιτήτριες την ευκαιρία μέσα από την κριτική σκέψη και τον μετασχηματισμό των πεποιθήσεών τους να κατανοήσουν και να συνειδητοποιήσουν την πολιτισμική ποικιλία των προσφυγόπουλων. Το θέμα της έρευνας αποδείχθηκε καινοτόμο και τα αποτελέσματα της χρήσιμα και μπορούν να αξιοποιηθούν στην εκπαίδευση.
    • This thesis deals with an empirical study of research character referring to the concept of Transformational Learning through art and is an innovation and an alternative original teaching proposal. The qualitative research was implemented in the form of educational intervention for the students of the Pedagogical Department of the University of Patras in the area of a Experimental Primary School after the end of the teaching hours. The aim of this work is to use art as a tool for transforming the perceptions of future teachers on the refugee crisis. At the time of the great refugee flows in our country, there is a need for the school to adapt to new cultural data. This requires changes in the way the school works, with new requirements especially from the future teachers. The action research carried out relates to the problems arising from the refugee issue. It was therefore necessary to capture and trace student's personal views on the refugee status, the integration of refugees into public schools and to explore the potential for lifting any xenophobic perceptions. The structure of this work includes qualitative action research with data collection research tool, the interview of fifteen students before and after the educational intervention with the method of "Transforming Learning through Aesthetic Experience" by Professor Alexis Kokkos. It is thus possible to explore the students' initial perceptions of the subject and to detect any changes in their attitude after the intervention. With reference to the findings of the study, it was found that art mediation and the application of this method, gave students the opportunity through critical thinking and the transformation of their beliefs, to understand in depth and realize the cultural diversity of refugees. The subject of research proved to be innovative and its results useful and can be used in education. Future teachers in order to function effectively in classrooms and help students from diverse cultures must themselves have formed democratic attitudes, undertaken personal and social action to create a more human, multicultural society for refugees.
