    • Είναι γνωστή η αξία της Τέχνης τόσο ως εκφραστικό μέσον διαθεματικής προσέγγισης και πλαισίωσης των Επιστημών, όσο και ως παράγοντας που συμβάλλει στην ολιστική ανάπτυξη του ανθρώπου. Σκοπός της παρούσας εργασίας είναι να διερευνήσει τη συμβολή και τα οφέλη από την εφαρμογή της Τέχνης ως διδακτικής μεθόδου στην τυπική επαγγελματική εκπαίδευση των Εσπερινών ΕΠΑ.Λ., καθώς και τις δομές εκπαίδευσης ενηλίκων. Τα αποτελέσματα έδειξαν ότι η μέθοδος διδασκαλίας που χρησιμοποιούν οι εκπαιδευτικοί δεν δομείται σε συγκεκριμένο μοντέλο μάθησης σχετικό με τη χρήση της Τέχνης, αλλά εφάρμοσαν πρακτικές διδασκαλίας και εκμάθησης με βάση εμπειρικές γνώσεις, οι οποίες αύξησαν τα επίπεδα ενδιαφέροντος και κινήτρων των μαθητών και σύμφωνα με ορισμένες εκθέσεις, βελτίωσαν τις γνωστικές δεξιότητες τους με πιθανό μελλοντικό στόχο την επιτυχία τους στην ακαδημαϊκή τους πορεία. Το γεγονός ότι οι μέθοδοι διδασκαλίας που χρησιμοποιούν οι περισσότεροι διδάσκοντες είναι εμπειρικές και δεν βασίζονται σε συγκεκριμένο μοντέλο, καταδεικνύει την ανάγκη επιμόρφωσης στην χρήση σύγχρονων παιδαγωγικών πρακτικών μέσω της αξιοποίησης της Τέχνης.
    • The value of Art, both as an expressive, interdisciplinary means of supporting Science and as a contributing factor to the holistic development of man, is widely known. The purpose of this study is to explore the contribution and the benefits of employing Art as a teaching method in Technical vocational evening schools and in adult education. In particular the study aims to highlight the teachers’ perceptions of the effectiveness of an Art-related teaching method for assimilating new knowledge, their beliefs as to the expected cognitive results in both the mentioned educational pathways, their aspirations regarding the successful implementation of the method in their own discipline and the anticipated difficulties and obstacles. The results show that the teachers did not refer to a particular didactic model, but in fact used teaching techniques and learning strategies based on their own experience in order to raise the awareness of their students and provide them with incentives. According to some reports, the students’ learning skills improved and, in some cases, resulted in further academic success. Nevertheless, the fact that most teachers employ empirical teaching methods rather than relying on a particular teaching model clearly illustrates the need to train teachers on how to apply modern pedagogical, art-related practices.
