Η παρούσα μεταπτυχιακή διπλωματική εργασία έχει ως αντικείμενο την πρόταση για την ανάπλαση μιας ενότητας πλατειών και πιο συγκεκριμένα των πλατειών Λαζαράκη, Μπελογιάννη και Σοχιά της πόλεως της Αμαλιάδας στο νομό Ηλείας. Στόχος είναι η ενσωμάτωση βιοκλιματικών αρχών στον επανασχεδιασμό ανοικτών υπαίθριων χώρων, την ένταξη τους στον αστικό ιστό και τη δημιουργία δικτύου πράσινων χώρων . Έμφαση δίδεται στο είδος της φυτοκάλυψης, την αντοχή της σε ρύπανση και το συνδυασμό με τα υλικά επικαλύψεων - και την αξιολόγηση (ποσοτική και ποιοτική) της βιοκλιματικής αναβάθμισης έτσι ώστε η ποιότητα του δικτύου να παραμείνει σταθερή στο χρόνο προσελκύοντας καθημερινά χρήστες. Σε αυτή περιλαμβάνεται και η τεκμηρίωση της βελτίωσης της βιοκλιματικής συμπεριφοράς από τους δείκτες της σκίασης, της εξατμισοδιαπνοής και της ανεμοπροστασίας της φυτοκάλυψης που θα επιλεγεί.
This MSc thesis has as its object the proposal for the redevelopment of the squares unit (particular Lazaraki, Belogianni and Sohia squares) of the city of Amaliada (Greece), in order to integrate bioclimatic principles in the redesign of the open outdoor spaces, their integration in the urban web and creating a green spaces network. Emphasis is given to the type of vegetation, the durability to pollution and the combination with coatings materials - and evaluation (quantitative and qualitative) of the bioclimatic upgrade so that the quality of the network remain constant over time attracting daily users. This includes a documentation of the improvement of bioclimatic behavior by shading indicators, evapotranspiration and wind protection of plant cover chosen.
