Η μέτρηση της ικανοποίησης των χρηστών υπηρεσιών υγείας, αποτελεί σημαντικό δείκτη αξιολόγησης και συντελεί στην οργάνωση των υπηρεσιών υγείας, εξασφαλίζοντας την ποιότητα των υπηρεσιών αυτών, έχοντας τελικό στόχο την υγεία των χρηστών υγείας. Στις παιδιατρικές δομές η μέτρηση της ικανοποίησης των παιδιών ως ασθενείς προέρχεται από τους γονείς των νοσηλευόμενων παιδιών, οι πληροφορίες των οποίων αντικατοπτρίζουν την ψυχική κατάσταση των ιδίων των γονιών.
Introduction: Measuring the satisfaction of health service users is an important indicator
of evaluation and participates in the organization of health services, ensuring the quality of
these services, with the ultimate goal of health of health users. In pediatric structures, the
measurement of children's satisfaction as patients comes from the parents of the
hospitalized children, whose information reflects the mental state of the parents
themselves.
Objective: The investigation of the factors regarding the provided medical-nursing
practices as well as the detection of the social demographic factors that affect the
evaluation of the degree of satisfaction of the parents as users of health services in the
pediatric structures of the University General Hospital of Patras.
Sample and Methods: A total of 150 parents were studied, whose children were
hospitalized at the University General Hospital of Patras, using the method of completing
an anonymous and self-completed Questionnaire: "Measurement of Satisfaction of
Visitors to Outpatient Clinics of the Hospital" (2007) of Alekras & Dacha, Zacha. The
IBM SPSS 23 statistical program was used to analyze the data. One Way Anova and
Independent T-test were used to check the relationships of the variables.
Results: It was found that parents of the opposite sex are satisfied with the services
provided by the hospital's nursing staff (F (150) = 0.904 p> 0.954). They are also equally
satisfied with the services of the medical staff (F (150) = 5,400 p> 0.251) and the rest of
the staff (F (150) = 0.254 p> 0.067) but also with the food (F (150) = 2,995 p> 0.607). )
and the interior of the hospital (F (150) = 1,124 p> 0.823). It is also observed that the
parents of the sample have the same degree of satisfaction from the services of the nursing
(F (3, 145) = 0.604 p> 0.613) and medical (F (3, 146) = 1,645 p> 0.182) staff of the
hospital regardless of age . Also, the parents are equally satisfied with the rest of the staff
(F (3, 146) = 1,607 p> 0.190) of the hospital but also with the food (F (3, 147) = 0.988 p>
0.400) and the internal environment ( F (3, 148) = 0.763 p> 0.517).

Conclusions: From the results of the research, it was found that the general picture that
prevails in most parents of the sample is that of the satisfaction from the public services
provided to their children by the medical-nursing staff during their hospitalization. The
challenge faced by the hospital's medical staff is to provide the best possible services to an
effective group by providing improved care for children and satisfaction without
discrimination.
