    • Η εργασία αφορά στην ανάλυση οικονομικών καταστάσεων του τομέα των ελληνικών ιδιωτικών υπηρεσιών υγείας. Ο τομέας εξετάζεται σε σχέση με τη ζήτηση και την προσφορά, λαμβάνοντας υπόψη το περιβάλλον ανταγωνισμού και πραγματοποιώντας ανάλυση SWOT. Παρουσιάζονται οι τέσσερις μεγαλύτεροι όμιλοι του τομέα και αναλύονται βασικά στοιχεία από τις οικονομικές τους καταστάσεις για τα έτη 2008-2014. Ακολουθεί ανάλυση των χρηματοοικονομικών δεικτών ρευστότητας, δραστηριότητας κερδοφορίας, κεφαλαιακής διάρθρωσης & φερεγγυότητας που φωτίζουν την απόδοσης των ομίλων. Περαιτέρω περιλαμβάνεται κάθετη ανάλυση κοινού μεγέθους ισολογισμών, και οριζόντια ποσοστιαία ανάλυση τάσης της κατάστασης αποτελεσμάτων χρήσης, καθώς και την ανάλυση κατάσταση ταμειακών ροών.
    • The dissertation deals with the financial statement analysis of the Greek private health services sector. The sector is reviewed regarding the demand and supply, considering the competition environment and performing SWOT analysis. The four major groups in the sector are presented and fundamental elements from their financial statements are highlighted for years 2008-2014. The analysis of financial ratios for liquidity, activity, profitability, solvency & capital structure display the various aspects of performance for the groups. Further analysis comprises of vertical balance sheet common size statements analysis and horizontal income statement percentage trend analysis, along with cash flow statement analysis.
