    • Μέσω αυτής της διατριβής, το Lean Supply Chain Management θα αναγνωριστεί ως ένα πλαίσιο διαχείρισης γνώσης με γνώμονα την επίτευξη της αριστείας και την κατάργηση δραστηριοτήτων χωρίς προστιθέμενη αξία ή "απόβλητα" από την πλευρά του πελάτη. Συγκεκριμένα, θα παρουσιαστούν οι φάσεις της εξέλιξης της διαχείρισης της αλυσίδας εφοδιασμού. Επιπλέον, θα προσδιοριστούν οι βασικές αρχές για τη δημιουργία αξίας μέσω της ανάκτησης ανατροφοδότησης από τον τελικό πελάτη, της δημιουργίας ταχείας ακολουθίας, της δημιουργίας αποτελεσματικής ροής, της συνεχιζόμενης εξέλιξης για τη μείωση (εάν είναι εφικτό και της ίδιας της απαλοιφής) δραστηριοτήτων χωρίς προστιθέμενη αξία μέσω του προσδιορισμού ενός συστήματος αξιών.
    • Through this dissertation, Lean Supply Chain Management will be identified as a decision focused knowledge management framework aiming to achieve excellence by eliminating non-value added activities or “waste” from the customer viewpoint. More specifically, the phases of evolution on the supply chain management with focus on the lean attitude will be presented. In addition, basic principles for creating value by retrieving feedback from end customer, setting up rapid sequence, creating efficient flow, ongoing evolution to reduce (if feasible to eliminate) waste and by determining a value system will be identified.
