    • Ο σκοπός της παρούσας έρευνας είναι η διερεύνηση του τρόπου κατά τον οποίο η τρέχουσα οικονομική κρίση στην Ελλάδα έχει επηρεάσει την ποιότητα της ζωής των νέων ανθρώπων. ειδικότερα ως προς τις διαιτητικές τους συνήθειες και τους τρόπους ζωής τους. Στην προσπάθεια συγκέντρωσης των απαιτούμενων πληροφοριών για την εξέταση αυτού του θέματος, ένα σχετικό ερωτηματολόγιο προωθήθηκε σε ένα ενδεικτικό δείγμα νέων ανθρώπων (π.χ. φοιτητές πανεπιστημίων και ΤΕΙ). Στη στατιστική διεργασία των σχετικών απαντήσεων οι μέθοδοι και τα εργαλεία που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν ήταν: Περιγραφικά στατιστικά, συχνότητες, διακυμάνσεις, μέσοι όροι, τυπικές αποκλίσεις και γραφήματα, Chi-squared tests σε διάφορες κατηγορηματικές μεταβλητές όπως επίπεδα πρόσληψης τροφής, ηλικία, φύλο, κτλ., χρήση Correlation Coefficients, Ανάλυση Διακυμάνσεως, Πολλαπλή Ανάλυση Παλινδρόμησης Reliability Analysis και Exploratory Factor Analysis. Στην προσπάθεια αποδελτίωσης αξιόπιστων ενδείξεων των μελετώμενων συνεπειών, το ερωτηματολόγιο (ενδεικτικά) αναφέρεται και σε φοιτητικά ζητήματα όπως οικονομική κατάσταση, ακαδημαϊκή πρόοδος, ψυχογραφικά και πολιτισμικά χαρακτηριστικά, προσωπικές σκέψεις και απόψεις, επιτεύγματα και προοπτικές των νέων και ακόμα την καταγραφή των προσδοκιών τους σε σχέση με την τρέχουσα κατάσταση της χώρας.
    • The aim of the dissertation is to investigate the way in which the current financial recession in Greece has been affecting the quality of life of young-aged persons, especially in terms of general dietary and lifestyle tendencies. In order to derive the information required for the examination of this topic, a relevant questionnaire was addressed to an indicative sample of young people such as University or TEI students, In proceeding with the collected data the employed statistical methods and tools were: the application of descriptive statistics, frequencies, variances, means, standard deviations and graphs; Chi-squared Tests within different categorical variables such as levels of food consumption, age, gender etc.; Correlation Coefficients among the different variables of the instruments; Analysis of Variance; Multiple Regression Analysis, Reliability Analysis and Exploratory Factor Analysis. In trying to obtain further trustful evidence of the studied consequences, the questionnaire indicatively refers to other relevant student issues such as: financial conditions, academic progress, cultural and psychographic attributes, personal thoughts, viewpoints, achievements and future perspectives, or the reference to the existence (or not) of hopefulness with regard to the current condition of the country.
