    • Η παραδοσιακή μορφή της εκπαίδευσης έχει αλλάξει τα τελευταία χρόνια, ειδικότερα μετά την ανάπτυξη της τεχνολογίας και του διαδικτύου. Η νέα μορφή της εκπαιδευτικής διαδικασίας περιλαμβάνει τόσο την εξ αποστάσεως εκπαίδευση όσο και την απομακρυσμένη διδασκαλία. Έτσι, στην παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία, μελετώνται οι νέες τάσεις στην εκπαιδευτική διαδικασία και πώς αυτές έχουν μεταβάλλει το παλαιότερο τρόπο εκπαίδευσης. Παράλληλα, θεωρείται σημαντικός ο τρόπος όπου οι νέες εκπαιδευτικές διαδικασίες έχουν επηρεάσει το εκπαιδευτικό σύστημα καθώς και τους ίδιους τους συντελεστές του. Η εκπαιδευτική διαδικασία έχει αλλάξει επιτακτικά τα τελευταία δύο χρόνια λόγω της εμφάνισης της πανδημίας. Oι δομές εκπαίδευσης σε όλα τα επίπεδα έχουν εξελιχθεί με γρήγορους ρυθμούς μεταβάλλοντας έτσι τον τρόπο της εκπαίδευσης από την φυσική παρουσία των μαθητών και φοιτητών στις τάξεις. Η νέα τεχνολογική εξέλιξη στον χώρο της εκπαίδευσης έχει επηρεάσει αρκετά την εκπαιδευτική διαδικασία και επικοινωνία του εκπαιδευτή με τον εκπαιδευόμενο. Στην παρούσα μελέτη, δόθηκε έμφαση στις νέες προκλήσεις της εξ αποστάσεως εκπαίδευσης καθώς και στις νέες τεχνολογικές εξελίξεις λόγω της πανδημίας.
    • In this project the main issue examined is the implementation of provided technological tools and equipment in educational procedures, under special circumstances or emergency conditions such as a pandemic period. Specifically, a crucial matter in discussion is the way in which the members of the educational community could adopt and use contemporary techniques and methods introduced by the new era in Education in general, on the one hand and by the innovative technological achievements, on the other that could not leave the field of education without a decisive impact. Additionally, the means used and their effectiveness in teaching and learning processes are of undertaking examination in combination with the existing obstacles as far as the availability of equipment is concerned. When in sudden circumstances, whatsoever, the bigger the needs the more obligatory is for the system to be sustainable in covering them. A basic prerequisite for a normal adjustment in such demanding conditions is the cooperation between the educational parties (teachers and learners) which proved to be invaluable at the end of the day. Another matter in question is how important is for the community to be prepared in advance to face such challenges: Teachers must be adequately trained and educated on the needs of distant education and students must be provided with the right motivations to be part of and deal with this kind of learning successfully. In fact and as a conclusion, it is undoubtedly considered of high importance that the parties involved in the educational processes must be willing to move on, following the pace of times and try to come across the contemporary challenges that came up because of the extremely difficult condition of a pandemic -with the full support of the government- within an unknown context and of course without losing the main structure, the basic targets and the fundamental philosophy of Education itself.
