  13. Η παρούσα διατριβή εξετάζει και αναλύει οργανωτικά θέματα που αφορούν τη σύσταση μιας έδρα σε μια ελληνική πολυεθνική βιομηχανία. Η μελέτη περίπτωσης που χρησιμοποιήθηκε ήταν ο Όμιλος Kleemann, του οποίου η έδρα βρίσκεται στη περιοχή του Κιλκίς. Αρχικά, η ανάλυση επικεντρώνεται στην οργανωσιακή θεωρία, συζητώντας τις διάφορες θεωρίες που έχουν αναπτυχθεί κατά τη διάρκεια των τελευταίων δεκαετιών σχετικά με τους τρόπους με τους οποίους ένας οργανισμός μπορεί να δημιουργήσει μια οργανωσιακή δομή για να εξυπηρετήσει τους δικούς του σκοπούς και στόχους
    • Headquarters (HQ) denotes the location where most, if not all, of the important functions of an organization are coordinated. It represents the entity at the center or the top of an organisation taking full responsibility for managing all business activities. A common problem occurs when a small organization (company) grows and suddenly passes the limit over which the coordination of its business activities is not possible (or the optimum) for this home company, which has actually become a business unit of the group by now. This specific time the company also discovers that strategy and strategic management is crucial for its further growth. It also knows at this stage that corporate governance is extremely difficult with its current structure. It is the time when the need for Headquarter is obvious. The purpose of this dissertation is to analyze the need for setting up corporate headquarters in a Greek multinational company active in the manufacturing sector and to propose a structure designed to fit its corporate strategy.
