Η διαχείριση των υγρών αποβλήτων είναι ένας νευραλγικός τομέας ο οποίος χρήζει προσοχής καθότι σχετίζεται με την προστασία του περιβάλλοντος και με την ανθρώπινη υγεία. Είναι σημαντικό να δίνεται η δέουσα προσοχή στις εγκαταστάσεις οι οποίες διαχειρίζονται και επεξεργάζονται τα υγρά απόβλητα που καταλήγουν σε αυτές. Η ενδελεχής βιβλιογραφική διερεύνηση, η καταγραφή της τρέχουσας νομοθεσίας, η αναλυτική παρουσίαση των ΕΕΛ και ΜΕΣ των ΧΥΤΑ, η παρουσίαση ενός ευέλικτου μεθοδολογικού πλαισίου για την συγκριτική μελέτη και αξιολόγηση μεταξύ των εναλλακτικών μεθόδων/συστημάτων για την επεξεργασία των λυμάτων και στραγγισμάτων διαμορφώνουν μια ολοκληρωμένη προσέγγιση σε ένα τόσο δυναμικό πεδίο.
Wastewater treatment is a neuralgic sector that requires attention as it relates with the environmental protection and human health. It is important to take attention to the facilities that manage and process wastewaters. A thorough bibliographic research, the record of the current legislation, the analysis of WTP and LTP in Landfills, the presentation of a flexible methodological framework for the comparative study and evaluation between alternative methods / systems for the treatment of sewage and leachates, forming an integrated approach in such a dynamic field.
