    • Η ικανοποίηση των χρηστών των πολιτιστικών εκδηλώσεων αποτελεί σημαντικό ερευνητικό ερώτημα καθώς, οι πόλεις βασίζονται πλέον σε πολύ μεγάλο βαθμό στο τουριστικό προϊόν που προσφέρουν και στο branding destination. Παράλληλα, η πολιτιστική διαχείριση ενός τόπου συμβάλει θετικά στην αύξηση της κοινωνικής συνοχής, συνδέεται με υψηλότερα οικονομικά οφέλη και αυξάνει το βιοτικό επίπεδο των κάτοικων. Η παρούσα μελέτη εστιάζει στον προσδιορισμό του επιπέδου ικανοποίησης των πολιτών του Δήμου Πειραιά από τη συμμετοχή τους σε πολιτιστικές εκδηλώσεις προκειμένου να προβεί σε προτάσεις βελτίωσης. Για αυτό τον σκοπό διεξήχθη έρευνα δημοσκόπησης σε δείγμα 126 κατοίκων του υπό εξέταση Δήμου. Τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας έδειξαν ότι η ικανοποίηση από τις πολιτιστικές εκδηλώσεις του Δήμου Πειραιά είναι εξαιρετικά χαμηλή. Οι παράγοντες που την επηρεάζουν είναι η έλλειψη επαρκούς ενημέρωσης, η ποιότητα των εγκαταστάσεων, η συνέπεια του προγράμματος υλοποίησης, η αισθητική των χώρων. Εξετάζονται οι παράγοντες ηλικίας, φύλλου, εισοδήματος και μορφωτικού επιπέδου σε σχέση με το βαθμό ικανοποίησης των πολιτών από τα πολιτιστικά δρώμενα. Παρουσιάζονται οι τρόποι αξιοποίησης των αποτελεσμάτων της έρευνας για τη χάραξη πολιτιστικής πολιτικής με στόχο την αύξηση της συμμετοχής των κατοίκων της περιοχής στα πολιτιστικά δρώμενα.
    • The assessment of user satisfaction of municipal cultural events is an important research issue as cities are now relying heavily on the tourist product they offer and on the branding destination. At the same time, the cultural management of a city contributes positively to the increase of social cohesion, it is associated with higher economic benefits and boosts the standard of living of the citizens. This study focuses on the identification of the level of satisfaction of the citizens of the Municipality of Piraeus from their participation in cultural events. For this purpose, a survey was carried out on a sample of 126 residents of the Municipality. The results of the survey showed that the residents’ satisfaction from the cultural events of the Municipality of Piraeus is extremely low. The main factors are the lack of promotion of the activities, the poor quality of infrastructure, the reliability of the events themselves. These were correlated to the variables of gender, age, educational level and income. Finally, the present study provides a basis for the development of a cultural strategy for the Municipality of Piraeus in order to increase citizen participation and satisfaction from cultural activities.
