Αντικείμενο της παρούσας διπλωματικής εργασίας είναι η μελέτη των βαρέων μετάλλων και μεταλλοειδών σε εδάφη από πάρκα και παιδικές χαρές του δήμου Αχαρνών και των πλησιέστερων σε αυτόν δήμους και η συσχέτισή τους με ανθρωπογενείς ή γεωγενείς παράγοντες. Στο πλαίσιο αυτό, πραγματοποιήθηκαν δειγματοληψίες σε έξι πάρκα και εννέα παιδικές χαρές, και μετρήθηκαν οι συγκεντρώσεις βαρέων μετάλλων όπως μολύβδου (Pb), ψευδαργύρου (Zn), χαλκού (Cu), καδμίου (Cd), υδραργύρου (Hg), χρωμίου (Cr), νικελίου (Ni), αρσενικού (As), μαγγανίου (Mn), σιδήρου (Fe) και κοβαλτίου (Co), τα οποία, ανάλογα της συγκέντρωσής τους, μπορεί να είναι επιβλαβή για τον ανθρώπινο οργανισμό.
The subject of this Diploma Thesis, is the study of heavy metals and metalloids in soils from parks and playgrounds in the Acharnon Municipality and the nearby municipalities and their correlation with anthropogenic or geogenic factors. Soil samples from six parks and nine playgrounds were collected and the concentrations of the heavy metals lead (Pb), zinc (Zn), copper (Cu), cadmium (Cd), mercury (Hg), chromium (Cr), arsenic (As), manganese (Mn), iron (Fe) and cobalt (Co), which are harmful to the human body, were measured.
