Στη συγκεκριμένη εργασία αντικείμενο της έρευνας αποτελεί η διερεύνηση των παραγόντων που καθορίζουν τις οικιστικές επιλογές και προτιμήσεις. Στόχος είναι η αποτιμηση του βαθμού οικιστικής ικανοποίησης των κατοίκων της ελληνικής πόλης και η απόκλιση των χαρακτηριστικών της ιδανικής κατοικίας από αυτά της πραγματικής κατοικίας. Το βασικό θεωρητικό πλαίσιο βασίζεται πάνω στις έννοιες τις αστικοποίησης, της προαστιοποίησης και εν γένει της οικιστικής συμπεριφοράς.
In this diplomatic thesis the subject for research is to investigate the factors that determine residential choices and preferences. The aim is to assess the degree of residential satisfaction amongst the inhabitants from a Greek city and the deviation for the characteristics of the ideal residence from those of actual residence. The basic theoretical framework is based upon the concepts of urbanization, suburbanization and in general of housing behavior.
