Σκοπός της παρούσας εργασίας είναι η αξιολόγηση της δυνατότητας ενεργειακής εκμετάλλευσης της παραγόμενης βιομάζας στο νομό Φλώρινας. Το διαθέσιμο δυναμικό βιομάζας στην εν λόγω περιοχή προκύπτει από την καλλιέργεια της αμπέλου, μιας καλλιέργειας με μεγάλη σημασία στην περιοχή, καθώς και από την κτηνοτροφική δραστηριότητα του νομού.
Στα πρώτα κεφάλαια της διπλωματικής γίνεται αναφορά γενικά στις έννοιες της ενέργειας, στη διαχείριση των ενεργειακών πόρων, στο περιβάλλον, το κλίμα, στη καλλιέργεια της αμπέλου και στις ανανεώσιμες πηγές ενέργειας με εκτενέστερη ανάλυση στη βιομάζα.
Στη συνέχεια της εργασίας αναλύεται η μικροβιολογία της αναερόβιας χώνευσης και οι παράγοντες που επηρεάζουν την διαδικασία της μεθανογένεσης. Στη συνέχεια γίνεται αναφορά στο θεσμικό πλαίσιο και την αδειοδοτική διαδικασία μιας μονάδας παραγωγής βιοαερίου. Ακολουθεί η τεχνική περιγραφή μονάδας παραγωγής βιοαερίου και η επιλογή της τεχνολογίας που θα χρησιμοποιηθεί.
Στα επόμενα κεφάλαια ακολουθεί: 1) ανάλυση της υφιστάμενης κατάστασης της περιοχής μελέτης 2) εκτίμηση του διαθέσιμου δυναμικού βιομάζας από την καλλιέργεια της αμπέλου, τα οινοποιεία της περιοχής και από την κτηνοτροφική δραστηριότητα του νομού 3) χωροθέτηση και διαστασιολόγηση της μονάδας παραγωγής βιοαερίου 4) ενεργειακή μελέτη.
Από τα αποτελέσματα της μελέτης διαπιστώνεται ότι μια τέτοια δραστηριότητα στην περιοχή της Φλώρινας θα επιφέρει σημαντικά οικονομικά, κοινωνικά και περιβαλλοντικά οφέλη, τα οποία αναφέρονται αναλυτικά στο τέλος της εργασίας.
The aim of this project is the evaluation of the possibilities of energy exploitation of the produced biomass in the prefecture of Florina. The available potential of biomass in the above mentioned area comes from the vine – cultivation, a cultivation of great importance in the area, as well as the cattle – raising activity of the prefecture.
In the first chapters of the project there is a general reference to the meanings of energy, to the management of energy resources, to the environment, to the climate, vine – cultivation and the recycling sources of energy with a more extensive analysis in biomass.
In the process, the microbiology of the anaerobic digestion away and the factors which affect the procedure of the methanogenesis are analysed. Later, there is a reference to the institutional framework and to the licensing process of the biomass production unit as well as the technology choice to be used.
In the following chapters there are: 1) the analysis of the current situation of the examined region 2) the evaluation of the available potential of biomass from vine – cultivation of the winery of the specific area and of the cattle – raising of the prefecture 3) the placement and the dimensioning of the biomass production unit 4) the energy study.
From the results of the study it is found that an activity like this in the region of Florina will have important economic and environmental benefits which are mentioned in detail at the end of the project.
