    • Περίληψη Εισαγωγή: Η κοινωνική στήριξη των ηλικιωμένων περιλαμβάνει δύο σημαντικές διαστάσεις: το μέγεθος του κοινωνικού δικτύου τους και την αντιλαμβανόμενη κοινωνική υποστήριξη από αυτό. Η κοινωνική υποστήριξη έχει συνδεθεί με καλή υγεία και καλή ποιότητα ζωής για τους ηλικιωμένους. Σκοπός: Σκοπός της εργασίας ήταν η διερεύνηση της κοινωνικής υποστήριξης ηλικιωμένων άνω των 65 ετών που διαβιούν στην Κοινότητα στα όρια ευθύνης του Δήμου Μαντουδίου-Λίμνης – Αγίας Άννας. Υλικό - Μέθοδος: Η μελέτη ήταν συγχρονική και πραγματοποιήθηκε με τη χρήση δομημένου ερωτηματολογίου και συγκεκριμέναμε το SSQ-6, το οποίο έχει σταθμιστεί στην Ελλάδα και διαθέτει ικανοποιητική αξιοπιστία και εγκυρότητα τυχαία και το μέγεθος του δείγματος ήταν 100 ηλικιωμένοι άνω των 65 ετών κάτοικοι του συγκεκριμένου Δήμου. Η στατιστική επεξεργασία έγινε με το πρόγραμμα SPSS και για την ανάλυση των αποτελεσμάτων χρησιμοποιήθηκαν περιγραφικά στατιστικά (συχνότητες, μέσες τιμές), καθώς και σύγκριση μέσων τιμών με το t test, καθώς οι ποσοτικές μεταβλητές ακολουθούσαν κανονική κατανομή, και συσχέτισε με τον δείκτη r του Pearson. Το επίπεδο στατιστικής σημαντικότητας ορίστηκε στο p<0,05. Αποτελέσματα: Το 59% του δείγματος ήταν γυναίκες και το 41% άνδρες. Ο μέσος όρος ηλικίας του δείγματος ήταν τα 75 έτη (SD=±6,66) και το μέσο μηνιαίο εισόδημα ήταν 504,07€ (SD=±167,59). Το 46,5% ήταν έγγαμοι και το 55% διέμενε μόνο του. Το 85% αντιμετώπιζε χρόνια προβλήματα υγείας, ενώ τρεις στους δέκα είχαν θετική αυτοαντίληψη για την υγεία τους. Η μέση τιμή του κοινωνικού δικτύου τους (SSQ1) βρέθηκε στα 9,38 (SD=±6,04) άτομα και η αντιλαμβανόμενη κοινωνική υποστήριξη (SSQ2) στην τιμή 26,99 (SD=±10,44). Η μέση τιμή της SSQ1 βρέθηκε για τους άνδρες ηλικιωμένους 9,56 άτομα (SD=±5,10) και για τις γυναίκες 9,25 (SD=±6.65) ενώ η SSQ2 28,17 (SD=±10,14) και 26,16 (SD=±10,65) αντίστοιχα. Συζήτηση: Τα αποτελέσματα δεν έδειξαν άμεση συσχέτιση της κοινωνικής υποστήριξης των ηλικιωμένων με την ύπαρξη χρόνιων προβλημάτων υγείας και την αυτοαντίληψη για την υγεία τους. Οι ηλικιωμένοι που ζούσαν με την οικογένεια τους (σύζυγο ή παιδιά), εκείνοι που είχαν παιδιά και μεγαλύτερο ατομικό μηνιαίο εισόδημα συγκέντρωναν και τις περισσότερες πιθανότητες να έχουν μεγαλύτερη SSQ1 και SSQ2. Ηλικιωμένοι που βίωναν σωματικό πόνο είχαν μικρότερες τιμές SSQ1 και SSQ2. Τέλος ηλικιωμένοι με υψηλότερο εκπαιδευτικό επίπεδο είχαν κατά κανόνα καλύτερη αυτοαντίληψη για την υγεία τους. Συμπεράσματα- Προτάσεις: Η οικογένεια αποτελεί για τους ηλικιωμένους το βασικό κοινωνικό δίκτυο κοινωνικής υποστήριξης. Οι ηλικιωμένοι που στερούνται οικογενειακού περιβάλλοντος στο Δήμο Μαντουδίου- Λίμνης-Αγ. Άννας λαμβάνουν ικανοποιητική κοινωνική υποστήριξη από τις κοινωνικές υπηρεσίες του Δήμου. Λαμβάνοντας υπόψη το γεγονός ότι οι μοναχικοί και άποροι ηλικιωμένοι βρίσκονται στην πιο δυσμενή θέση από την άποψη κοινωνικής υποστήριξης στο επίπεδο του Δήμου είναι σημαντικό να διασφαλίζεται διαρκώς ο έλεγχος της ποιότητας των παρεχόμενων υπηρεσιών, ενώ το επίπεδο της γενικότερης κοινωνικής πολιτικής θα πρέπει να ανοίξει και στην Ελλάδα ο διάλογος για την εφαρμογή ενός βιώσιμου μοντέλου κατώτατου εγγυημένου εισοδήματος, που θα λαμβάνει υπόψη του τόσο τη δημογραφική γήρανση και τα οικονομικά δεδομένα όσο και το αναφαίρετο δικαίωμα των ηλικιωμένων να ζήσουν το τελευταίο διάστημα της ζωής τους σε αξιοπρεπείς συνθήκες.     • Summary Introduction: Social support for the elderly has two important dimensions: the size of their social network and their perceived social support. Social support has been linked to good health and good quality of life for the elderly. Purpose: The purpose of the work was to investigate the social support of elderly people aged over 65 who live in the Community within the limits of the responsibility of the Municipality of Mantoudi - Limni - Agia Anna. Material - Method: The study was synchronous and was carried out using a structured questionnaire and specifically with the SSQ-6, which has been weighed in Greece and has satisfactory reliability and validity. Sampling was random and the size of the sample was 100 elderly people aged over 65 who were residents of that particular municipality. The statistical processing was done with the SPSS programme and descriptive statisticsn (frequencies, mean values) were used for the analysis of the results, as well as a comparison of mean values with the t test, as the quantitative variables followed a normal distribution, and correlated with the Pearson r index . The level of statistical significance was set at p <0.05. Results: 59% of the sample was female and 41% male. The mean age of the sample was 75 years (SD = ± 6,66) and the average monthly income was 504,07E (SD = ±167,59), 46,5% were married and 55% lived alone. 85% had chronic health problems, and three out of ten had positive self-esteem for their health. Their SSQ1avrage was 9,38 (SD = ± 6.04) and perceived social support (SSQ2) at 26,99 (SD = ±10,44). The mean SSQ1 was found for men elderly 9,56 (SD = ± 5,10) and for women 9,25 (SD = ± 6,65) SSQ2 28,17 (SD = ±10,14) and 26,16 (SD = ± 10,65) respectively. Discussion: The results did not show a direct correlation of social support for the elderly with the existence of chronic health problems and self-esteem for their health. The elderly who lived with their family (spouse or children), those with children and higher individual monthly income were most likely to have a higher SSQ1 and SSQ2. Elderly people who experienced physical pain had lower SSQ1 and SSQ2 values. Finally, older people with a higher level of education generally had better self- esteem for their health. Conclusions- Proposals: The family is for the elderly the main social network of social support. The elderly who lack a family environment in the Municipality of Mandoudi- Limni- Ag. Anna receive satisfactory social support at the level of the Municipality, it is important to ensure constant monitoring of the quality of the services provided while at the level of the general social policy it should also be opened up Dialogue on the implementation of a sustainable low guaranteed income model, taking into account both demographic aging and economic data as well as the inalienable elderly to live the last period of their lives in decent conditions.
