Η παρούσα εργασία πραγματεύεται ζητήματα που αφορούν στο σχεδιασμό φωτισμού των εξωτερικών χώρων ξενοδοχειακών μονάδων. Ο σχεδιασμός φωτισμού εξωτερικών χώρων αποτελεί ένα πολυπαραγοντικό ζήτημα που περιλαμβάνει ταυτόχρονα κριτήρια λειτουργικότητας, εξοικονόμησης ενέργειας και αισθητικής παρουσίας του έργου. Η σύνδεση αυτών των κριτηρίων θέτει τους περιορισμούς για την επιλογή του τρόπου ή των τρόπων φωτισμού καθώς και του αντίστοιχου εξοπλισμού. Η εργασία αποτελείται από δυο μέρη, ένα θεωρητικό όπου αναλύονται οι θεωρητικές αρχές των παραπάνω κριτηρίων και ένα συνθετικό όπου παρουσιάζεται η εφαρμογή τους σε μία πρόταση αναβάθμισης υφιστάμενης εγκατάστασης φωτισμού ξενοδοχείου.
Στο θεωρητικό μέρος καθορίζονται αρχικά οι χρήσεις και οι χρήστες των εξωτερικών χώρων των ξενοδοχειακών μονάδων, αναφορικά με τις ειδικές απαιτήσεις φωτισμού. Στη συνέχεια μετά από την παρουσίαση των συνήθων πρακτικών φωτισμού, αναλύονται τα λειτουργικά κριτήρια ανά είδος χώρου καθώς και τα κριτήρια επιλογής του φωτιστικού εξοπλισμού. Παράλληλα, γίνεται παρουσίαση της υφιστάμενης ενεργειακής εικόνας του γενικού κτιριακού τομέα, του ρόλου του φωτισμού στη διαμόρφωση της εικόνας αυτής και των ευρωπαϊκών και εθνικών οδηγιών που στοχεύουν στον έλεγχο της καταναλισκόμενης ενέργειας. Βάσει αυτών των κριτηρίων ενεργειακής εξοικονόμησης, γίνεται αναφορά στην επιλογή του εξοπλισμού και στην εγκατάσταση συστημάτων αυτοματισμού και κεντρικής διαχείρισης. Τέλος, αναλύεται ο τρόπος που η ανθρώπινη οπτική αντίληψη σχετίζεται με το φωτεινό ερέθισμα, ώστε ο μελετητής να είναι σε θέση να χειριστεί το φως ως ένα εικαστικό εργαλείο παραγωγής εντυπώσεων και αισθήσεων, εξυπηρετώντας τα αισθητικά κριτήρια του έργου.
Στο συνθετικό μέρος, και βάσει κριτηρίων που αναλύονται στο πρώτο μέρος, επιχειρείται μία μελέτη αναβάθμισης της φωτιστικής εγκατάστασης του εξωτερικού χώρου μίας ξενοδοχειακής μονάδας. Μετά τον εντοπισμό των αδυναμιών και αστοχιών της εγκατάστασης φωτισμού, παρουσιάζεται η φωτιστική πρόταση που αφορά στην επίτευξη των λειτουργικών, ενεργειακών και αισθητικών στόχων του έργου.
Τα συμπεράσματα της εργασίας αφορούν στους τρόπους που ο συνδυασμός λειτουργικότητας, εξοικονόμησης ενέργειας και αισθητικής μπορούν να διαμορφώσουν μία βέλτιστη φωτιστική συνθήκη για το έργο.
The diploma thesis discusses issues related to the lighting design of exterior areas in hotels. The exterior lighting design is a multifactorial subject that includes both criteria of functionality, energy saving and aesthetic presence of the project. The connection of these criteria sets restrictions for selecting the way of lighting design as well as the appropriate equipment. The paper consists of two parts, one theoretical, where the theoretical principles of the above criteria are analyzed and one compositional, in which their application in a proposal for upgrading the existing lighting installation of a hotel are presented.
In the theoretical part the uses and users of external areas of hotels are initially specified, in regard to the specific lighting requirements. Then, after the presentation of the common lighting practices, the functional criteria are analyzed by the kind of each space, as well as the criteria for selecting the lighting equipment. Moreover, the paper presents the current energy profile of the general building sector, the role of lighting in shaping this image and the European and national guidelines that aim in controlling energy consumption. Based on these energy saving criteria, there is a reference in the selection of the appropriate equipment and the installation of automation and centralized management systems. Finally, there is an analysis in the way that the human visual perception is related to the light stimulus so that the designer is able to handle light as a visual tool for producing certain impressions and sensations, serving the aesthetic criteria of the project.
In the compositional part, a study in upgrading the lighting installation of the exterior are of a hotel is attempted. After identifying the weaknesses and failures of the existing lighting installation, is presented the lighting design proposal, concerning the achievement of functional, energy saving and aesthetic goals of the project.
The conclusions of the work are related to the ways that the combination of functionality, aesthetics and energy savings can configure an optimal illumination condition for the project.
