As technology advances, the bar is set higher for leaders who must now wield modern technical tools alongside interpersonal skills. This thesis focuses on the integration of both components in artificial intelligence leadership. While technical knowledge explains the intricacies of AI systems, emotional intelligence teaches collaboration, adaptability, and ethical decision-making, all of which are important for business success.

The approach is quantitative, with surveys conducted among leaders and employees from multiple sectors. It examines the relationship between the combination of cognitive and non-cognitive skills and team performance, employee satisfaction, and the overarching health of the business. Through an extensive literature review, the dissertation analyzes the changing scope of AI in leadership and the corresponding void in management theory regarding the integration of soft skills and hard skills.

The results of this investigation fill a gap in practical literature within the strategic management domain concerning the integration of artificial intelligence into leadership approaches. The objective is to propose a dual-focus model of leadership that encourages emotional intelligence together with the requisite technical capabilities and provides organizations on how to foster leadership with artificial intelligence at the core.  

Στις μέρες μας η τεχνητή νοημοσύνη εισέρχεται όλο και περισσότερο στο χώρο των επιχειρήσεων. Σε αυτό το πλαισιο η ηγεσία καλείται να ενσωματώσει τόσο τις τεχνικές δεξιότητες αλλά και τη συναισθηματική νοημοσύνη με τέτοιο τρόπο ώστε να διασφαλίζεται η υγιής λειτουργία. Ο σκοπός της διπλωματικής αυτής είναι να εξετάσει εάν η τεχνητή νοημοσύνη μπορεί να συνδυάσει αποτελεσματικά τις τεχνικές δεξιότητες και τη συναισθηματική νοημοσύνη τα οποία είναι απαραίτητα για την επιχειρηματικότητα. Μέσα από εκτενή βιβλιογραφική ανασκόπηση και μελέτες περίπτωσης διερευνάται το πώς ο συνδυασμός τεχνικών και διαπροσωπικών δεξιοτήτων έχει επίδραση σε βασικούς επιχειρηματικούς δείκτες όπως την απόδοση των ομάδων την ικανοποίηση των εργαζομένων και τη συνολική επιτυχία της επιχείρησης. Στόχος είναι η ανάδειξη στρατηγικών στην ηγεσία που συνδυάζουν αποτεσματικα την τεχνική εξειδίκευση με τη συναισθηματική νοημοσύνη σε περιβάλλοντα που ενσωματώνουν ευρέως την τεχνητή νοημοσύνη.
