This paper attempts to explore new approaches to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and risk management in the gaming industry through the adoption of cutting edge technologies such as cryptocurrencies, artificial intelligence (AI) and behavioral analytics. While the rate at which digital technology is evolving presents a challenge to operators, it also presents a challenge to criminals. To be effective, the result of any compliance regime should be compliant and robust risk management.

To enhance risk management strategies and improve the effectiveness of AML processes, the study examines various technological methods. The anonymous and global characteristics of cryptocurrency transactions pose both challenges and opportunities for authorities. This dissertation also seeks to clarify how these digital currencies can be both beneficial and detrimental to compliance efforts, emphasizing the need for innovative regulations to address the intricate issues associated with cryptocurrencies.

Furthermore, numerous ways to detect and reduce risks in gambling by using AI and ML are discovered and, in this thesis, will be made an attempt to present the use of AI and machine learning technologies and how they greatly enhance risks. Patterns recognition and predictive analytics are offered by these technologies, which empower operators to address potential dangers before they become a problem. This study also aims to explore the role of behavioral and digital analytics in trying to understand and influencing the behavior of gamblers which is very important for developing interventions to promote responsible gambling.

Additionally, the sharing of valuable information practices which are considered standard in the industry through platforms that enable cooperation, and that fraud and similar practices can be mitigated more effectively through these platforms, which shows the benefits of collaboration in this competitive industry is also discussed.
