The aim of this dissertation was to investigate the impact of organizational culture on innovation management in Greek technical firms. For that purpose, questionnaires were handed out in 64 managers (response rate of 84 %) who were working in firms of the private sector operating in Greece. The analysis was conducted with SPSS v.25 and included parametric tests (Independent T-tests and one-way ANOVA), exploratory factor analysis, correlation and regression analyses. The results indicated that overall organizational culture has a positive impact on innovation management. However, Greek technical firms adopt more conservative and conventional corporate cultures that limit their ability to innovate. In this context, a shift towards more collaborative and person cultures should be applied for enhancing their skills towards innovation. The analysis also showed that demographic features such as age and educational background of the participants did not influence their opinions and views regarding the discussed issues. Differentiations were identified only according to position in the company. In particular, senior managers believe to a greater extent that their firms apply efficient organizational culture and innovation management practices compared to middle level managers. Probably the position of responsibility they hold makes them to see more favorably their companies’ procedures. In conclusion, Greek technical firms should give particular emphasis in reshaping and renewing their corporate culture shifting to more supportive, creative and experimental business schemes.
