    • OBJECTIVE: To examine the impact of HPWS practices on the perceived organizational support of employees in the Public Sector in Greece. In specific, HPWS practices were examined in relation to the perceived organizational support of employees both as a unified strategic system of interconnected and interrelated practices and as seperate practices of Human Resource Management. METHOD: The research sample consisted of 104 employees of several Public Services in Greece. The survey was administered following the methodology of Quantitative Research and for the purpose thereof a self-completed structured electronic questionnaire on a five-point Likert scale was used. The hypotheses were tested by way of administering the correlation analysis. RESULTS: The findings verify that the use of HPWS practices as a whole system of interconnected and interrelated practices relate positively to the perceived organizational support of employees in the Public Sector in Greece. CONCLUSION: The research indicates strongly to managers of Public Services that HPWS practices is a strategic managerial system that they should thoroughly consider and implement in the Public Sector, as it has a significant impact, at least, on the variable examined in the present dissertation, namely the perceived organizational support, which, in its turn, is related to the effectiveness and efficiency of organizations as a whole.
