    • Το θέμα της παρούσης Διπλωματικής εργασίας είναι οι «Πολιτισμικοί Σύλλογοι και Βιώσιμη Ανάπτυξη: Το Παράδειγμα της Ζακύνθου». Αρχικά παρατίθενται γενικά στοιχεία για το θέμα, η καταγραφή του σκοπού και η μέθοδος συγγραφής. Εν συνεχεία καταγράφονται ορισμοί και έννοιες για το θέμα, όπως: ο πολιτισμός και η αειφορία, η βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη, δίνεται εμπεριστατωμένη βιβλιογραφική επισκόπηση, και τέλος συνδέεται η βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη με τον πολιτισμό. Παρακάτω παρουσιάζεται ο πολιτισμός ως μοχλός ανάπτυξης στις τοπικές κοινωνίες, δίνονται στοιχεία για τον πολιτισμό ως θεμέλιο της ευημερίας, τα μοντέλα του τουρισμού και της βιώσιμης ανάπτυξης, ενώ γίνεται αναφορά και στη σύνδεση του πολιτισμού και της πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς με την παγκοσμιοποίηση. Στη συνέχεια παρουσιάζεται η μεθοδολογία έρευνας και παρατίθενται τα στοιχεία για τους πολιτισμικούς συλλόγους και τη βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη: το παράδειγμα της Ζακύνθου, δίνεται η έννοια των πολιτιστικών συλλόγων και η αποτύπωση των πολιτιστικών συλλόγων του νησιού της Ζακύνθου στην βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη. Τέλος παρουσιάζονται τα συμπεράσματα για την προσφορά / συμβολή των Πολιτισμικών Συλλόγων στην Βιώσιμη Ανάπτυξη της Ζακύνθου.
    • The topic of this Diploma Thesis is "Cultural Associations and Sustainable Development: The Example of Zakynthos". Initially, general information about the subject under research and the methods followed are provided. Definitions and concepts on the subject are then recorded, such as: culture and sustainability, sustainable development, a thorough bibliographic overview, and finally sustainable development is linked to culture. Below is highlighted culture as a lever of development in local communities, data on culture as a foundation of prosperity, models of tourism and sustainable development are given. Following this, the role of culture and cultural heritage with respect to globalization is also outlined and analyzed. Then, the research methodology is presented and the data for the cultural associations and the sustainable development are presented: the example of Zakynthos, the meaning of the cultural associations is given and the imprint of the cultural associations of the island of Zakynthos in the sustainable development. Next, the concepts of globalization and localism are presented through the growing importance of local identities and the importance of identity needs. Finally, the conclusions for the offer / contribution of the Cultural Associations to the Sustainable Development of Zakynthos are presented.
