    • Η Διεθνής οικονομική κρίση έχει επηρεάσει την Ελληνική Οικονομία. Επιχειρηματικές πρακτικές του παρελθόντος δεν είναι πια εφαρμόσιμες στο παρόν επιχειρηματικό περιβάλλον. Έχοντας αυτό ως δεδομένο, οι Μικρομεσαίες Επιχειρήσεις (ΜΜΕ) καλούνται να υιοθετήσουν Τεχνολογίες Πληροφορικής και Επικοινωνιών (ΤΠΕ) προκειμένου να βελτιώσουν τις διαδικασίες τους, να μειώσουν κόστη και να μπουν σε νέες αγορές. Στην παρούσα έρευνα, μελετάται το τρέχον οικονομικό περιβάλλον για τις ΜΜΕ, η αξία από την χρήση ΤΠΕ σε άλλες χώρες ή/και περιοχές προκειμένου να εφαρμοστούν ανάλογα από τις ΜΜΕ στον Ελληνικό χώρο και γίνεται έρευνα για την αποδοχή αυτών και την εκτιμώμενη προστιθέμενη αξία από τις ΜΜΕ.
    • Financial crisis has affected almost all sectors of economy in Greece. In this environment, Small Medium Enterprises (SME) should incorporate Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in order to support and assist them to reduce costs, improve processes and reach new markets. In this research, the current economic environment in which SMEs operate is presented and assessed. Successful practices from other countries and/or areas that used ICT are studied and their adaptation and adoption to SMEs will be proposed. An assessment is made, via a survey, on the value and acceptance of these proposed changes.
