  11. The Economic crisis has affected many areas of business in Greece. The crisis reached its pick when capital controls, which were imposed suddenly, stopped business with vendors in distribution companies. On top of that, most of their partners faced credit issues, orders had been cancelled and huge amounts of stock stayed unsold, as deals and projects were cancelled. Public sector put on hold all the contests that were on the pipeline to be realized within the year. The purpose of this paper is to analyze and highlight the way the economic crisis affected the distribution on the electronics, software and hardware business area in Greece. To serve this purpose, a secondary research will be conducted and comparative analysis along with descriptive statistics and critical review of literature, articles, dissertations, reports and other documents related to the impact of the economic crisis on this specific area of business, will be used as tools to the analysis.
    • Ο σκοπός αυτής της ερευνητικής εργασίας είναι να μελετήσει το βαθμό των επιπτώσεων της οικονομικής κρίσης στις επιδόσεις των ελληνικών επιχειρήσεων. Πιο συγκεκριμένα, το θεωρητικό μέρος προσπαθεί να δώσει μια εικόνα για το πώς η οικονομική κρίση μπορεί να έχει επηρεάσει τις επιχειρήσεις, αλλά και τον τρόπο με τον οποίο αντέδρασαν οι τελευταίες για να επιβιώσουν. Το εμπειρικό μέρος αποτελείται από μια ποσοτική έρευνα που παρουσιάζει τις απόψεις των μεσαίων και χαμηλών στελεχών ελληνικών επιχειρήσεων σχετικά με τις αλλαγές που η οικονομική κρίση προκάλεσε στην ελληνική οικονομία και επιχειρηματικότητα. Τα αποτελέσματα έδειξαν ότι η οικονομική κατάσταση στην Ελλάδα πρόκειται να επιδεινωθεί.
    • The aim of this thesis is to study the degree of impact of the economic crisis on the performance of Greek enterprises. More specifically, the theoretical part tries to give a picture of how the economic crisis affected businesses but also the way in which they reacted to survive. The empirical part consists of a quantitative research that presents the opinions of middle and low level managers of Greek companies about the changes that economic crisis caused. The results showed that the economic situation in Greece is going to be worsened, while the majority supports the view that the effects of the crisis in the industry were negative.
